Nested in the jungle, it felt like a dream to relax listening to the sound of the forest. Everything is beautiful at the Jungle Guide, and the staff is very kind and helpful. We even had the chance to listen to some of them playing the guitar and singing, it was lovely! I can't recommend it enough!

Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges - Family Friendly está ubicado en Bukit Lawang y tiene un jardín, terraza, servicio de masajes y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. This is juste the perfect place ! At the end of the village, so more quiet, front of the gorgeous river. My bungalow was huge and very charming. But most of all Tia welcome you in the best way. She's very kind and gives very good advices, so you can trust her to organise a treck in the forest. I did it and it was a magic moment ( and physical ! ). I love Bukit Lawang, it's a very beautiful place and you can trust me : go to Rambai Tree Jungle lodge you will love it !

We had a lovely stay at Sunset Beach Resort. As non-divers, we were looking for a relaxed but comfortable place to stay on the island. Though a little bit away from some other, apparently 'happening' places of the island, we thought it was still the best place to stay. We loved the overall aesthetics of the resort - quite unique and fresh compared to other places on the island - and how easy it was to get everything we needed: from transport to tips about activities, not just locally, but also on the mainland. We loved the variety of food and drink options offered on site - prepared with much love and attention as well as other local restaurant recommendations we were given. The patchy WiFi did not bother us as we wanted to disconnect and relax. The owners are very attentive and inspiring people who clearly put a lot of effort into making their guests' stay as hassle-free as possible. We loved just being able to slow down and hang out, read our books , watch the ocean and play with the resident puppy. A fab stay for couples, friends but even for solo travellers who are looking to unwind. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to be back!

Ubicado en Padang, en la región de Sumatra, Mila Homestay ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratis. Hay un baño privado totalmente equipado con ducha y secador de pelo. Dila y Michael son unos anfitriones geniales. La habitación es cómoda y muy limpia, con aire acondicionado. El desayuno completo y riquísimo, con unas vistas increíbles. En nuestro caso, ellos mismos se ofrecieron a recogernos y llevarnos (por un precio muy inferior al de Grab) tanto al aeropuerto como al puerto, ayudándonos a comprar los billetes del ferry. Si volvemos a Padang, repetiremos con ellos segurísimo. ¡Muchas gracias por todo!

Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking está ubicado en Bukit Lawang y tiene un jardín, zona de playa privada, una terraza y restaurante. It's in an excellent location right on the river in the quiet spot of bukit lawang but still only a short walk from where all the action is and if you don't wish to walk there is a taxi service very close by which will get you into town. The rooms are very nice and the food choices are good and there is soft drinks and beers available for those that wish. Also the garden area is very beautiful with a lot of wildflowers and butterflies flying around so it's a pleasure even just to sit on your balcony and enjoy the view

Orangutan Villa & Eco-Friendly Jungle Trekking cuenta con vistas al jardín, está ubicado en Timbanglawang y tiene un restaurante, servicio a la habitación, bar, jardín y terraza. AMAZING stay in there. Everything was perfect : the trek, the guest house, the restaurant (so good food) and the staff. Cooking staff, jungle guides, manager, driver, they are all very nice, funny and always happy to help. The organisation is very good. GO GO GO ;)

The view padang, Amazing view, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry, cold beer, close to restaurants está ubicado en Padang, a 13 minutos a pie de Playa Air Manis, y tiene alojamiento con un jardín,... El personal que lleva el alojamiento muy atentos. Pudimos dejar las maletas durante tres días mientras hacíamos una excursión. Nos facilitaron todo lo necesario en cuanto a transporte y disponibilidad.
