We’re so happy we had the chance to meet Sarka and Putra—such great people. They’re doing an amazing job with their beautiful resort, and it really shows. The accommodation is in a beautiful and peaceful area overlooking the mountains. However it's also convenient with many stores nearby. Situated in Padang and only 1.1 km from Air Manis Beach, The view padang, Amazing view, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry, cold beer, close to restaurants features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and... We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! A huge thank you to Robert, who was incredibly attentive and helped us with everything — from surfboard rentals to booking the fast ferry to Mentawai. JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HOUSE - Trekking & Transport Only Book With Us is set in Bukit Lawang and has a pool with a view and river views. Alek, the owner, is very available to help us to find the best guide to do a trek in the jungle during 3days to see Orangs outang and other monkeys. He helps us to do laundry, find a taxi to arrive and to leave Bukit Lawang. We visited the bat cave, the market on Friday and the recycling factory near the homestay. The room was comfortable, the bed was very big and comfortable too, with a mosquito net. You can swim every day in the river just in front of the guesthouse with a lot of local kids. There is a restaurant in the homestay or around. You can ask what you need to Alek, he knows every body in Bukit Lawang;-) Thank you Alek for your welcoming.
