He picks us up his guests at the piers and answers every question you may have. - The place is well situated, just outside Tuktuk main area. - We had a room in the garden, the bed is comfortable and it is quiet at night. - Kettle and fridge in the room. - Good wifi. - Possibility to rent a scooter. There are in good conditions and with a full tank. - Good restaurant next door, for your breakfast. We'll book here again if we visit again Samosir island.

Nested in the jungle, it felt like a dream to relax listening to the sound of the forest. Everything is beautiful at the Jungle Guide, and the staff is very kind and helpful. We even had the chance to listen to some of them playing the guitar and singing, it was lovely! I can't recommend it enough!

This is the most amazing place to stay. I've been to the jungle in India, Borneo and the Phillipines but Rambai Tree Eco Jungle Huts not only provided the most comfortable accommodation but they made us feel like family ❤️🙏. Romi and Tia communicated efficiently and clearly from the moment I booked, several months ago. They provided a very reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable return airport shuttle - Wayhu, and the best guides - Ronie and Nanda. We saw Orangutans, Gibbons, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and a monitor lizard in just a half day trek! As well as being visited daily by the local Macaque troop and several large bats. Tia cooked us the most fantastic farewell dinner and we were genuinely sad to leave. Nothing was too much trouble for them ❤️

This place is a gem! We’re so happy we had the chance to meet Sarka and Putra—such great people. They’re doing an amazing job with their beautiful resort, and it really shows. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back someday!

Teras olanağı sağlayan Mila Homestay tesisi Padang noktasında, Siti Nurbaya Bridge noktasına 10 km ve Mount Talang noktasına 47 km mesafede bulunan bir konaklama imkanı sunar. We found LOBLUS by chance and it was wonderful. The place is very cosy, the rooms very clean, good value for money, but the most important and the most remarkable is DILAH. She is the nicest, kindest and most dedicated person we have met in Indonesia. If you have a couple of days or more, she will make your experience as rewarding as possible. She will get you all the food and fruit you want for breakfast, and even if you want to see crocodiles, she will wait with you for 3 or 4 hours until they show up! Hahaha I would definitely recommend her a million times. If you want to do a tour in Sumatra, I recommend you to talk to her and spend at least one day there. She deserves everything and more. A friend for life. Thank you DILAH.

Bahçe manzaralı ve Timbanglawang noktasında yer alan Orangutan Villa & Ethical Jungle Treks tesisi restoran, oda servisi, bar, bahçe ve teras olanaklarına sahiptir. AMAZING stay in there. Everything was perfect : the trek, the guest house, the restaurant (so good food) and the staff. Cooking staff, jungle guides, manager, driver, they are all very nice, funny and always happy to help. The organisation is very good. GO GO GO ;)

I truly loved everything about Mario Lakeside. The location is peaceful and beautiful, right by the lake — perfect for relaxing. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. What made this place special is the heart behind it. The owner, Pak Ali, is a kind and inspiring person. He also runs a foundation for children with cleft lips in Sumatra — which made my stay feel even more meaningful. Upstairs, there’s a vegetarian café with delicious food. They grow some of their ingredients on-site (farm-to-table concept), and I was blown away by the haloumi sandwich – they even import the cheese from the UK! It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a place that stays with you. I’d definitely come back if I visit Toba again.
