We spent two nights at Pitu, a Punggul Village Escape, and I have to say: this place is truly exceptional. I have never been so impressed by a villa before. The entire villa is beautifully built from bamboo, very spacious, extremely private, and comes with its own pool surrounded by jungle views. It was a dream to stay here. The service was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and helped with our luggage. The owner, Agung, came personally to greet us, gave us amazing tips, and genuinely took care of us throughout our stay. He really cares and it felt like Family. We have never experienced hospitality like this before. Breakfast was another highlight… We could choose everything individually including the time when it will be served in our Villa. We had Eggs, Pancakes and fresh fruits and delicious Bali coffee, prepared with high quality ingredients. Esa, one of the staff members, was incredibly sweet and attentive and brought the breakfast together with the chef personally right to our villa. A very special moment was when the Owner Mr. Agung personally drove us to a coffee plantation and showed us around. It was such a unique and unforgettable experience. The villa was clean, authentic, beautifully designed and the overall atmosphere was simply magical and also perfect for couples to have a romantic stay. We absolutely recommend Pitu, a Punggul Village Escape and already look forward to coming back.

A senhora que toma conta do alojamento foi super simpática e prestável. Assim que cheguei, ofereceu-me doces tradicionais de Bali. Além disso, fez-me o pequeno-almoço mais cedo dado que eu tinha um tour às 7 AM. O local tem uma vista linda e a Twin Waterfall é incrível!

In most accommodation places there is usually something that can be improved upon. Here we could not think of one single aspect that did not earn ‘10 out of 10’. The elevated location above rice fields with a jungle canopy in the background is just divine. Our upstairs ‘Joglo’ cabin had a huge balcony with large dining table and leisure chairs to relax and enjoy the view. The large bed directly faces big patio doors that open up onto the balcony. Everything in the room including furniture, equipment, and bedding is top quality. We had probably the best shower of our entire trip with constant hot water available. The bathroom is partly open to the elements and when raining you have the unusual experience of a hot and cold rain shower. An infinity pool faces the rice fields with plenty of sunbeds available. Gardens are beautifully maintained. Food in the restaurant is also exceptional with unlimited a la carte breakfast choices, great range of all day food choices and good wine list. added to this are the exceptional staff made for a most relaxing stay. There is a self-guided walk available around the area which we can recommend, and there are plenty of other activities including yoga, spa treatments and other excursions.

Kekut’s self-built house is perfect for the nice and cool ~20°C weather in Bedugul (1.3km above sea level). It’s private, has its own fence and gate and only 2 houses in the property, each housing only 2 pax. All the basics are well-covered: drinking water dispenser, hot shower water, stable power, even a small kitchen if you want to do some meal prep. Breakfast was a large spread and everything was delicious and personally prepared by Kekut every morning! Many key attractions (strawberry farms, temples, waterfalls, lakes) are just maybe half an hour’s drive away. We were very lucky to be able to hire Kekut to drive us around, including airport transfer. Through him, we’ve learnt so much about Balinese culture and traditions, and now we really understand why this part of Indonesia is so unique and popular. He is also super patient and friendly and very respectful of our personal space. I hope many more tourists will get the same experience we did, because I honestly think it’ll be one of the best ones I’ll ever have in my life. Thank you Kekut, if I return to the region I will definitely return.

This place is so peaceful and so relaxing in the middle of the green nature. I really liked to wake up in the morning with daylight and field view. They really did an amazing job to make you feel so welcome. The hosts are so lovely people and very familiar, they will help you with everything you need. The breakfast is excellent and I tried for the first time pisang goreng (fried banana) the best in my opinion. I could also use a motorbike to go to jatiluwih rice fields it is only 20 min driving
