The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

Michael who was there to welcome us is a very nice person who was eager to give us advices about what to do, where to eat and how to really enjoy our stay. Drumlanaught Cottage Farnham, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is located in Cavan, 10 km from Ballyhaise College, 14 km from Drumlane Abbey, as well as 36 km from Maudabawn Cultural... It was a wonderful stay, we were very well received by Bridie, a very kind person who was always there to give us any support. the house was very clean, and especially tidy for Christmas. I highly recommend it and we will definitely stay there again one day.
