With an 18-hole championship golf course, a 20-metre pool and a luxurious spa, Slieve Russell Hotel is set within 300 acres of grounds. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. Beautiful setting. Our room was spacious and so comfortable. It was a relaxing night away. We had a 3 course meal in Maxwells Grill which was 10/10- the fillet steak and fishcake I would highly recommend. We also had some fab cocktails afterwards. Orla working on reception was so welcoming- a ray of sunshine who made us both smile.

Ubytovanie Drumlanaught Cottage Farnham sa nachádza v destinácii Cavan 6 km od miesta Genealogické centrum Cavan. Bridie was a fantastic host. She invited us in with a warm welcome, made us a cup of tea and even lit the fire for us on the chilly afternoon we arrived. We had a good old chat around the fire and then she left us to a beautiful peaceful evening to wind down in our comfortable and warm rooms. I loved the sky light/window in the bathroom of our room. The bird song outside, in the otherwise quiet countryside, was delightful. Beds were comfy and blankets were warm. I slept perfectly. Breakfast was great, we had coffee, toast and cereal. Bridie offered us more but we were already satisfied 🙂 We had a lovely stay.

This hidden gem nestled in the picturesque countryside. The mornings were filled with the melodious sound of birds singing, and the peaceful neighborhood ensured a restful night's sleep. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The highlight for our furry friend was the expansive green area where dog could run and play freely.
