Set in an 11th-century castle the Clontarf Hotel combines ancient architecture with 21st-century facilities. I really enjoyed my stay — the room was spotless and felt very comfortable, with everything I needed (fast Wi-Fi, and cozy bedding). The location was super convenient for getting around, and the host was friendly and responsive, which made check-in and communication easy. Overall, it was great value for money, and I'd happily stay again.

This luxury boutique-style hotel is located in Ballsbridge, 1.5 miles from Dublin city centre. It offers stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi, comfortable beds and Nespresso coffee machines. The late-duty staff were exceptionally helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The strong water pressure in the bathroom made for a very relaxing bath. The location was also ideal—close to the Aircoach bus stop, with a mini supermarket, a pub/restaurant, and the Print Museum all nearby. Bus stop in front direct to city.

It was an idyllic place to explore coastal Dublin. And staff recommended many local treasures from swimming at the Forty Foot and other swim spots to restaurants, pubs and shoos.
