Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, The Coral House Homestay by the Taj is located in Agra, 700 metres from Taj Mahal. Loved loved loved the colourful flare and personality of the property. It’s as if the property owner (who we did not meet) traveled around the world — Provence, Mexico, etc — and picked up the most colorful things possible and then put them in his sprawling house and in his multiple patios and welcoming decks. The place is extremely cheerful and CLEAN. Nothing smells or seems unclean. Since I could not understand the layout from the photos online, I ended up booking three units for my family of 6. It turned out to be great but more space than we needed. The upstairs 4 person family apartment has a full room with two twin beds, a kitchen with a water purifier attached to the sink and a burner and coffee maker and other equipment we did not use, a bathroom with its own hot water heater and shower, and another master bedroom with a large bed. It comfortably sleeps four people - parents and two kids. The other four person bedroom is just a single bedroom with a bathroom that you go through a public hall to go to the bathroom. It has two big beds and one twin size beds. It also can fit four (or maybe even five) people, but it’s only one room. The three person room has a big bed and a twin and can easily for three people. It is not en suite but has the bathroom that you share with the 4-person room. All of the spaces are really beautiful and great, and there are multiple roof decks, potted plants all over, a welcoming courtyard with plants and flowers, and at least two indoor areas with seats. Breakfast is simple (toast, eggs, prata, crepe-like pancakes, etc). Coral House is very close (walking distance along a safe pedestrian walkway) to the East Gate of the Taj Mahal. Our guide met us at the Coral House to bring us but we could have done it by ourselves with minimal guidance. It’s almost as close as the Oberoi, where we have stayed before, at around 1/10th (or less) of the price!

Ideally set in Agra, Max Guest House features a continental breakfast and free WiFi. Private parking is available on site. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace.... The room is pretty large and it was clean! Compare to other hotels in India I think this place maintains very good cleaning 👍 as I notice many of hotels in India barely focus on small corner of clean, but max’s place did good job!

The Coral Court is set in Agra, 700 metres from Taj Mahal and 1.7 km from Mehtab Bagh. Certain units include a seating area where you can relax. You will find a kettle in the room. We had a very good stay. The breakfast was great and staff was very polite.

Set in Varanasi and with Assi Ghat reachable within 400 metres, SAIR Hostel, Varanasi - 100m from Assi Ghat offers a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Best location, hygiene is maintained well, best part is the rooftop. Highly recommended and will always prefer Sair to stay.

Situated within 1.7 km of Taj Mahal and 6.8 km of Agra Cantonment, Inara House features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Agra. Our stay at Inara House was absolutely amazing. After a 5-hour car ride, we arrived exhausted and starving, and they went above and beyond by helping us immediately and even giving us free food, which meant so much to us. Rishabh was incredible—he truly took care of us and made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay. The house is also great and clean. Hot water works well. if you like to stay active, as they have weights available for workouts. And the cherry on top: you can see the Taj Mahal from the terrace, which is simply unforgettable. Highly recommended—warm hospitality, thoughtful details, and an unforgettable experience.

"Ek het 'n baie goeie verblyf by hierdie hotel gehad. Dit is baie naby aan die Taj Mahal geleë, wat besigtiging so maklik gemaak het. Stay in Someshwar is located in Varanasi, 300 metres from Dasaswamedh Ghat, 500 metres from Manikarnika Ghat, and 1.3 km from Kedar Ghat. 1) Excellent Location, about 15 metres from Man-Mandir Ghat stairs, but still very calm place and no rush like other ghats, since the people did not climbed the tall ghat stairs of Man Mandir. Note: To reach any place nearer to ghats, people always need to walk from auto stand, and this was no exception with 700m walk from the auto stand (PDR Mall), which is not their fault 2) Excellent Staff - very helpful (both brothers and father were extremely well behaved) 3) Within 20 feet there is Dolphin Restaurant and one can find very good quality Food here (only veg in varanasi near ghats) 4) No other hassles
