The location was very nice, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. They had amenities in the kitchen and the place was clean. They offered ear plugs as well, but we didn't need them as it was not loud.

Lara Studio in Laugardalur valley, Reykjavík Central Park and Botanical Garden, Private entrance, FREE Private Parking on... Lara Studio was an absolutely charming place — totally my style. The room was beautifully decorated, and the bedding was so comfortable I honestly wished I could pack it in my suitcase and take it home! We were welcomed with a cake from the best bakery in Reykjavík, and there was even a note written in Polish, prepared especially for us. The owner recommended what to see and what to avoid, and also explained a few things that might be surprising for visitors — like the smell of the water, which Icelanders don’t even notice, but for us at first smelled like rotten eggs. She also shared the names of stores where we could buy groceries at reasonable prices, and recommended her favorite restaurant. I was truly impressed. And waking up to that stunning blue sky — I couldn’t have asked for anything more. If I ever go back to Iceland, I’ll definitely stay at Lara Studio again. It was absolutely wonderful, and the owner was incredibly sweet.
