This place was great and definitely the cheapest one we had during our 12-day trip in Iceland. It was clean , spacious ,nicely decorated with a view to the lake. Location was very convenient near the golden circle sightseeing. The owners gave us a full bar of Icelandic chocolate as a welcoming gift. Very generous of them. We really hope you keep the price low and the rooms clean and neat in the future!

This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. I recently stayed at Bitra Guesthouse and was very pleased with my experience. The guesthouse is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful and quiet, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The price is very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the accommodations and the excellent breakfast included. Overall, I would highly recommend Bitra Guesthouse to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay in Selfoss. This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. Everything was just great. Location, staff, food, cleanness. Thanks, we will be back.

Perfect accommodation, couldn't ask for anything more.The room was cosy. The kitchen is more equipped than my own. Beautiful dining area with a big window. Clean and curated bathroom. Also we had to cancel one of the nights we booked and they were kind enough to give us a full refund even if it was just one day before. I think that if every guest used the kitchen then it might get crowded, but on the night we were there it was just another couple of people, so it was perfect.

Modern recently built cabin. Very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. Hot tub was the best. We even was lucky to observe the magic northern lights!

It was my dream to sleep in camping car that Baksas Campers make it true♡ The hotel is in a quiet area, but not far from the shops and restaurants in Selfoss. The room was tidy and fresh, and the staff is polite and offer a warm smile. AC ran off when I used hairdryer by mistake but he responded message and call and came in only 3 mins to solve my problems. it was really helpful! It will choose this lovely hotel when I come again in the future
