Hotel Cannero is located in the lakeside town of Cannero Riviera on the shores of Lake Maggiore. It offers a seasonal outdoor pool and on-site restaurant. the hotel is located just in front of the lake , it only needs to cross a small road to join the boat pier . the room equipment , including bathroom was perfect just beside there is a small café belonging to the hotel where cocktails , or other cold or warm drinks and snakking are served ,and both were great ! the restaurant is also very well , foods was excellent and the staff vey nice and friendly , as were those of the hotel . breakfast was more than perfect .

Tässä majesteettisessa jugendtyylisessä hotellissa on sisä- ja ulkouima-altaat ja spa-osasto. Hotelli sijaitsee Maggiorejärven rannalla Stresassa, vastapäätä Borromeo-saaria. Breakfast was great. The spa is wonderful as well as the outside pool.

Set in Stresa in the Piedmont region, Villa Valesca features a balcony. This aparthotel is 600 metres from Borromean Islands. Almost new and extremely clean apartment in the short walking distance from Stresa centre and Lido. Well equipped kitchen and great wardrobes. Spacious private parking place and huge green area. Two balconies, one facing the lake. The great bonus was just opened pool that was not even listed among the services when booking. Especially the children enjoyed a lot:)

Situated in Osmate Lentate and only 24 km from Villa Panza, Poggio del Poeta features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was exceptional — the property and service were flawless. Our host, Ms. Claudia, went above and beyond (she even asked what we would like for breakfast — something I had never experienced before). If you are travelling with family, consider bringing a small gift for her — her hospitality is so generous you’ll want to show your appreciation. Highly recommended.

Boasting a shared lounge and views of lake, Elvezia Boutique is a recently renovated apartment situated in Baveno, 3.3 km from Borromean Islands. Staff was quick to respond to request. Bed very comfy and room was functional.. Close to convenience store, restaurants and main road too..

Situated in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Hotel Villa Cuserina features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Everything !! The location ; the staff ; the food ; the room we had the junior suite !!

Set just 23 km from Villa Panza, Casa vacanze Aria offers accommodation in Leggiuno with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything in the room was perfect. The installations are new and quite nice. The shower one of the best that I had in quite sometime. The bathroom is big and quite comfortable and had a washing machine. It has a air conditioner. The bed is queen and confortable ( maybe a bit too soft for my taste, but It didn’t bother me). The kitchen (for all the guests) is good, with all the equipment that you need.

Offering city views, Borgo Paradiso Guest House is an accommodation located in Maccagno Inferiore, 30 km from Exhibition Center Lugano and 32 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. Borgo Paradiso is located on a rather steep hill and allows a spectacular view over the roofs of Maccagno to Lago Maggiore. Our guest house was more than 100 years old, but nicely renovated. Our 2 rooms were on each side of a fully equipped kitchen with access to a balcony. The rooms had a good size, a wooden ceiling, and very comfortable beds. The bathroom had a good size and even a window! Our host Charlene spoke excellent English and was extremely nice and helpful. She offered us a gift of blueberry jam and honey and a coupon for free ice cream in the village. She also sent us advice for restaurants and which sights to see at Maccagno. Also the farmer who brought the breakfast (with fresh bread, cake, cheese and prosciutto) was very nice and made us feel welcome.

Situated in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Villa Diomira features accommodation with a garden and private parking. Everything. Just a wonderful experience! The breakfast was exceptional. This is the first time ever I will rate 10 out of 10 because usually there would be something to improve. At Villa Diomira I wouldn't change a thing!
