We arrived well before check-in but still received a lovely friendly welcome from everyone we met. Sabina was incredibly helpful and allowed us to store our bags. The walk to the old city is quite steep, but very easy to follow (taking around 10 minutes). The room was large (with a bonus balcony area) and immaculately clean. We were given a wide choice of breakfast items and the quality was superb. Finally, when our bus didn't arrive due to a national festival, Michele arranged a taxi to complete our journey. We are vegan and they were super conscious about all food, they knew the ingredients and allergens of everything. We had wide choice of food to eat for breakfast and the service was extremely polite and knowledgeable. We felt like in a movie and we regretted a lot that we didn’t stay there for longer. The conditions were amazing, the surrounding was incredible, the birds chirping was waking us up in a most perfect way. I cannot add more to it. It’s all just an amazing experience to be there and surely we will come Back to this extraordinary place!!! Also it was a pleasure to meet the owner - Orlando was very helpful and told us the story of this castle. Thank you all for the most amazing two night we had with you!!!

Garage parking is available on request. The hotel has had a serious upgrade from our previous stays. It was always a lovely hotel however the upgrade has made it special. All staff were professional and friendly. Will definitely return.
