This hotel is a hidden gem. Absolutely beautiful. Facilities, views, gardens are all fantastic. Forget Ricks Cafe, the view of the sunset from the cliffs is even better.

Excellent location and accommodation, 4 to 5 km to Negril Beach, but the better beach is within the houses with a club swimming pool. In general, it is good to have a car to go around Jamaica.

We had an incredible stay! The room was immaculately clean, definitely one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. Everything was fresh, tidy, and well-maintained. The property also felt very safe, which gave us peace of mind throughout our trip. The host was warm, welcoming, and always available to help with anything we needed. Her hospitality was truly top tier, she made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was always delicious, with the option of a tasty Jamaican breakfast or a continental one if you preferred. It was the perfect way to start each day. The location is amazing! It’s just one minute from Rick’s Café and about nine minutes from the party strip, which made it ideal for Dream Weekend. We loved being so close to the events but still having a peaceful place to relax afterward. Highly recommend this spot, you’ll get comfort, convenience, and outstanding service all in one place!

It’s very close to the beach. It’s a beautiful, relaxing space and I wish we could have stayed longer. The Property Manager, Pat, and the owner, Neil, were very helpful and welcoming.

Boasting a garden, Nelsons Retreat is set in Negril and also provides a bar and a shared lounge. The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 1.3 km from Seven Mile Beach. We spent four wonderful nights at Nelson's Retreat. The house is beautiful and our room was cozy, spacious, and everything was super clean. The garden is a dream, with plenty of places to relax, and the location was just perfect for us. You can quickly reach the beautiful Seven Mile Beach, there are many great restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and in the evening you can enjoy peace and quiet and a wonderful retreat. We would like to give special mention to the two hosts. Shirley and William are such wonderful, loving, and warm people. We immediately felt at home and breakfast was a little highlight for us every morning; it was varied and so incredibly delicious. The two of them really made our stay perfect. We would like to thank them again. It was wonderful and we can recommend Nelson's Retreat to everyone. It was by far the most beautiful accommodation in Jamaica for us.
