The hotel is modern but we were able to stay in the traditional Japanese style room - everything about the room was thoughtfully prepared (tea, drip coffee, robes and slippers for use when going to onsen, ice machine and small souvenir shop), clean and beds were comfortable. The location was very good, nice buffet dinner, live music performance at night and very kind staff. The rooftop onsen was excellent - it had a beautiful view of Matsuyama city, different soaking areas (outdoor and indoor with spa bubbles) and felt pretty private.

The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is excellent, and so is the kitchen. Parking is right next to the entrance. The area is very quiet. Self check-in was easy. As a bonus, there were sherberts from the host's farm waiting for us that were absolutely delicious.

If you’re looking for a place to stay for 4 or 6 people - look no further. We’ve been travelling for 25 days in Japan with our family of 4 and this has been our best experience. We arrived after riding our bikes all day and were greeted by the hosts with hot orange juice, tips on where to get food and even got a lift to get take out as they informed us the best restaurants might be closing soon. Our kids even got a present in the morning. Everything in the room is thought out - the bunk beds are bigger than normal with power outlets. There are Imabari towels. The showerhead is glorious. There is a lot more space then the pictures give away and you wake up with amazing sea view. If you’re doing the Shimanami Kaido or are looking for a place near the beach - stay here.

Excellent and very friendly host. The facilities in general were easy to access and there's plenty of space for yourself in the room and also in the "lounge" area to hang around. The ryoukan itself was very beautiful with a garden right next to the room. I liked that they provided a short guide of different restaurants and POI of the nearby area. Overall I felt extremely well taken care of.

Koji is the most generous owner and genunely welcome to help. He picked us up from the port and even picked us up from another port in the night time (we survived from the most adventurous journey - thankful to Koji!). Talk about the place: the guesthouse is cozy and warm. The shared facilities included kitchen and washing machine. The price of ramen and washing pods are the same price in the convenience store and may be cheaper. E-bikes are also provided with the cheap rate (1000 yen/day).

The host was super friendly and helped us in renting e-bikes and reservations in the very nearby restaurants. A big supermarket is also around the corner. We can definitely recommend going to Nametoko gorge. You can do this with e-bikes.

La amabilidad de la propietaria conmigo y mis dos hijos de 8 y 11 años. Veníamos de Onomichi en bicicleta y a la manana siguiente debíamos continuar la ruta en bicicleta. El mejor lugar donde hemos hospedado Nos reservó un restaurante delicioso, nos llevó en coche,.nos quería hasta venir a buscar . El hostal precioso, simple, real, limpio. El desayuno buenísimo con los Beatles de fondo. Todo exquisito, unas vibraciones buenísimas, gracias a esa mujer.
