Stayed in superior twin room with city view, half board. Staff were excellent, meals were excellent, room quiet, clean, and luxurious.

Loved everything! Beds were comfortable Absolutely fantastic location right off Dogo main pedestrian street but still really quiet Exceptional value for money. Staff was so helpful showing us all around the apartment so we didn't miss anything and left a little bag of goodies and some Mikan juice for us. Yukatas in the apartment were a hit with my 3 year old, they even included little ones for her Inside was so lovely and clean and nice ambience

伯方plus+ situa-se em Imabari, a 35 km de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine e a 37 km de Henjou-in Temple. The owners of this stay were so very very kind. We had to inform them that someone on our reservation was unable to come due to an illness, and they went out of their way to get her a souvenir! How kind is that?! When you arrive, they give you a cup of, possibly, the most delicious heated orange juice I have ever had. Genuinely both my brother and I were shocked at how good it was lol. They were also very complementary of my terrible japanese, so bonus points for hyping me up XD. The stay itself is quite small, but it has a magnificent view out of the window to the beach and the palm trees, and the sunset over the mountain is breathtaking. It also has everything you would need for a stay, fridge, microwave, table, kitchenette, etc. Special shoutouts to the shower, holy crap the heat and water pressure from that thing were life changing, and I wish I could have taken that shower home with me. Genuinely in the months that I have stayed in Japan that was the best shower I have ever had. No worries about food, there is a Konbini very close as well. All in all this was a wonderful stay, very convenient, hosts were really nice. Absolutely will try to stay here again when I retry the Shimanami Kaido.

Super friendly staff who were really helpful and welcoming. Great location for exploring the shimanami kaido, few minutes cycle from supermarket, maybe 15 mins to port to rabbit island or tatara bridge. 30mins cycle to other side of the island with the shrine and onsen. Everything was really clean and you were well provided for. Only a few beds in dorm room which was nice. Would love to stay again!

Koji is the most generous owner and genunely welcome to help. He picked us up from the port and even picked us up from another port in the night time (we survived from the most adventurous journey - thankful to Koji!). Talk about the place: the guesthouse is cozy and warm. The shared facilities included kitchen and washing machine. The price of ramen and washing pods are the same price in the convenience store and may be cheaper. E-bikes are also provided with the cheap rate (1000 yen/day).

Would need to take a bus or train from Uwajima. Schedule is not regular but easy enough to navigate. Space is large and very well thought out with sleeping room, hang out lounge and nice kitchen with table and chairs. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great place to base for walks in area. Huge bonus was Izakaya down the street. Super refined and tasty. We enjoyed our stay.
