Objekt 馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou smješten je u gradu 'Nakatsugawa', na manje od 1 km od znamenitosti Toson Memorial Museum, te nudi smještaj koji sadrži vrt, besplatno privatno parkiralište,... This wasn't just a stay for a few nights, but an exceptional experience! You can feel all this nostalgia that gets you from every room and every hallway even though you were never there. The grand piano in the gymnasium is still very much alive, and if you know how to play even just a little, the whole place echoes and sings! All of the staff members is so friendly and helpful that will make you feel you're home than just a customer passing through. This has become undoubtedly my personal favourite place which I will visit again in my travels! どもありがとうございました

The location and the rooms itself. It looks like a very new hotel and the private bath was great as well

Objekt Onyado Yuinosho, Shirakawago nalazi se u gradu 'Shirakawa', na 45 km od znamenitosti Muzej Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village, te nudi smještaj koji sadrži zajednički salon, besplatno privatno... This was a great introduction to a ryokan experience. While it’s part of a chain, it still felt authentic. Very spacious rooms, impeccable cleanliness. The onsen is one of the best we’ve experienced, with a view of ghe mountains. The food was so generous, prepared with the highest level of attention to sourcing local ingredients, respecting seasonal produce, and balancing flavors. This was a really lovely stay.

Very comfortable and big room, modern but with perfect fit with tradition, happy hour, onsen in the hotel and free ice cream once you finish with onsen! Also in the historic center which is something I loved! Just fell in love with it and regret for not staying there 2 nights

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Guest House Ouka is about 11mins walk from Takayama station, the route was pretty straight forward - just a straight line! The Guest House itself is cosy and well decorated. On 1/F you will find the reception counter and a home-like common area, the kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware and long dining tables, Shower rooms are just next to the kitchen. My single room was on the 2/F which was clean, warm and spacious!! (with comfy bed/ chair/ hair dryer/ mirror/ small laundry rack etc. and a warm welcome note :) Restroom/ washing machine (200yen)/ tumble dryer/ Laundry racks/ washbasins were just few steps away. Staffs were so friendly and helpful, luggage storage was also available before check in and after check out. I had a great time in Ouka and Takayama, will definitely come back next time (and stay for few more days!)

Courteous services English speaking staff Very comfortable rooms as a ryokan - the futon bed were thicker and more comfortable than usual

Just a 2-minute walk from Takayama Station, Oyado Koto No Yume offers Japanese-style rooms with a colourful touch. Everything was simply perfect. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly! The rooms are spacious and while a bit dated, they are clean and very cozy. Being able to book a private hot bath was also very welcome. It is only a few minutes away from the Train/Bus station, but as soon as you enter the domain of the hotel, it feels as if you step from the city straight into an Onsen town. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night.

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. The resort is amazing, you can truly relax and experience the onsen culture away from crowds and in a very original way. Rooms are very nice and clean and the private onsen are the best added value if you want to have privacy and relax in the onsen.
