The facilities were so beautiful and offered many amenities. The room was new, well furnished, with an excellent bathroom and shower. We booked the private onsen for 4000yen for 45 minutes which was fantastic. The breakfast buffet had a lot to choose from as well. Walkable to the historic areas and after a long day you get to enjoy the lobby bar which gives free drinks with a privilege booking.

I Shirakawa-go, 45 kilometer fra Hida Minzoku Mura landsbymuseum, ligger Onyado Yuinosho, Shirakawago, som har en fellesstue, gratis privat parkering, en restaurant og en bar. Perfekt overnattingssted for avslapping etter en dag med sightseeing. Onsen har flere basseng å velge mellom og er svært behagelige. Vi fikk låne lounge wear og kimonoer til å gå rundt med på hotellet, til og med spise middag og frokost i. En veldig fin perle oppe i fjellet.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. The people working there are both friendly, helpful and caring, it felt like they had a genuine intrest in their guests. The common areas are clean and cosy with a relaxed vibe, and when I was there the guests interacted with each other so you could get to know new people if you wanted to. The place was also in walking distance to both the bus station, old part of town and to a shopping mall with a proper supermarket. If you dont want to walk, there is a 7/11 right next door, or there is the possibility to buy food and coffee at the place. If I come back to Takayama I would choose to stay here again

The room was very spacious, the breakfast delicious, the onsen beautiful and the staff very welcoming! Loved it here!

Oyado Koto No Yume ligger bare 2 minutters gange fra Takayama stasjon og har rom i japansk stil med fargerike innslag, termalbad, en restaurant og gratis Wi-Fi overalt. Excellent location, comfortable rooms, outstanding staff!!!! Breakfast is wonderful, and the public baths were great. Lovely touches like sake tasting and yukata assistance were much apprciated.

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. We loved our stay at this onsen hotel !! There was an indoor and outdoor public bath and private outdoor baths and our own bath connected to the room which was beautiful with high ceilings. The food was excellent and the views were stunning! Highly recommended !! Also great for kids as the kids meals are so beautiful !!! We wish we could have stayed longer!
