Perfect spot for starting the hiking trail between Magome & Tsumago. The staff were really helpful & called to help us get a reservation for dinner. Very fun to stay in an old school, the gym has a ping pong table & other games which were fun to do! Stayed in the co-ed space and was very clean & comfortable.

We stayed for four nights. The atmosphere in the hotel is wonderful if you seek tranquility and relaxation. The Onsen was just great and we used it everday. Also the food quality was exceptionell (Kaiseki style). We were 100% satisfied with our stay.

The entire experience was fantastic. The hotel has a beautiful modern design, spacious rooms, nice bath area, and free happy hour and parking. The location is perfect and staff was incredibly accommodating.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Lady at the reception was very nice and very good English. Kitchen is well equipped. The lounge is big. Room was also very big and comfortable. You can do your laundry and there is also a dryer.

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. Super attentive and kind staff, great japanese breakfast, beautiful rooms. The Hot Springs were amazing!
