He even pointed out interesting local wildlife, which added a special touch to our nature walks. The rooms were super comfortable, breakfast was a delight, and the coffee… well, it lives up to the “roastery” in the name. Truly some of the best we’ve had in Japan. We’re already talking about coming back in winter to experience the area’s skiing. Highly recommended.

Located in the heart of Kusatsu Onsen, it provided easy access to the town centre and bus station. The staff were exceptional, very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel itself was spotless, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We really enjoyed their breakfast. We stayed there 2 nights and it was different both mornings. A special highlight was being able to enjoy the onsen without any issues despite having tattoos that I can't cover.
