It's also an easy walk to Hondori Street, which is a large, covered, bustling shopping and restaurant area. The rooms were spotless, the staff always helpful and unfailingly polite. There were families, couples, business travelers -- a wide spectrum of people with a lot going on, but always quiet in the rooms. There were a number of restaurant choices if you chose to eat at the hotel. We would recommend it when visiting Hiroshima.

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! A really great place to stay. The tatami rooms are lovely, we had the most wonderful autumn colours right outside our window. Fabulous. We also really enjoyed the veg. Curry in the evening.

Between the free shuttle to the airport and the amazing breakfast, it was everything I needed. The room was very clean and had everything that was needed for a great night of sleep before heading home.

This hotel is a great budget option for a ryokan experience! I paid much less than what is quoted at other places but it definitely felt like a luxury experience. The traditional Japanese room is huge! And the dinner plus breakfast were very delicious and extravagant. I struggled to finish the kaiseki dinner. The staff were so helpful and polite. They even brought all my luggage to the room from the ferry terminal. The shuttle makes everything very convenient as it is farther from the main sights. The onsen was clean and very comfortable.

Location is amazing, the staff was very great and the experience of having the dinner and breakfast there was incredible! The staff were very friendly. I found the bed comfortable and the whole quest house was very charming. The restaurant attached to the guest house was good and convenient, and the view of the garden from there was lovely. It is two minutes away from Mitaki-dera, which I found to be an underrated beautiful place, now one of my favorite temples I have visited.

Perfect place to stay before biking the Tobishima Kaido.
