Well located in the centre of Hiroshima, HOTEL GRANVIA HIROSHIMA SOUTH GATE provides buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. The location was just at Hiroshima station which is convenient for us traveling with suitcase. Room is big to fit 2 adults; warm nice and clean.

Well set in Hiroshima, Hilton Hiroshima offers 4-star accommodation close to Myoei-ji Temple and Hiroshima City Minami Ward Community Cultural Center. I liked that it was the Hilton and the low price to stay at such a fancy hotel. The food options were varied although my friend and I only tried out Sensui (expensive, though!). Location-wise, it's pretty decent with a shopping centre close by and a bus stop not too far away. But most of all, I liked how big the rooms were! This was, by far, the best sized room during our entire stay.

Situated in the south-eastern area of Hiroshima, Hotel Cycle offers a simple yet stylish accommodation with free WiFi access in all areas. The JR Onomichi Station is just a 5-minute walk away. The design and the area of the hotel, also the bakery and restaurant inside the same building was a very convenient location. Place to rent bike right next to the hotel

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Fantastic location, a very short distance out of the main tourist areas, but close to everything. Beautiful setting both inside and out. The room had fantastic views and was very comfortable and spacious. Lots of amenities available.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. A must to visit! Service was perfect. They pay attention to every detail and this makes you feel as you are in the best place you could ask for in Miyajima. The room was clean, the food was really great (not only the taste, but also how it was presented). Totally recommended!!!

A 3-minute stroll from Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto boasts an outdoor hot spring bath. It offers luxurious Japanese-style and Western rooms and a free shuttle from Miyajima Pier. Everything about this property was perfect. My family of 4 had a private room with 4 bunks and our own bathroom. The restaurant attached was fantastic and convenient. The train station is a ten minute walk through a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

Set in Onomichi, 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, BONAPOOL offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The property is minimalist and modern. Simple but beautiful. Our whole family enjoyed it here. The view across the water was stunning.

Situated in Kure, 300 metres from Kure Municipal Museum of Art, 無垢 入船の宿 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The staff are superb, the location is wonderful, I wish I had stayed longer. Perfect place to stay before biking the Tobishima Kaido.

Situated in Etajima, 8.8 km from Naval History Museum, Etajimasou Hotel & SPA Hiroshima features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. From the shuttle at the ferry dock, reception, orientation to the Spa, cleanliness of the room and facilities, and welcoming attitudes of the staff to the actual experience of dining, lounging, walking around the facilities and use of the Onsen, we were delighted with the property. The relaxed atmosphere helped after riding the Shimanami Kaido International Cycling event.
