Hotel was perfectly situated directly across from train station and so clean and comfortable. Staff could not have been more helpful with suggestions and even looked after our luggage while we toured the town at no extra cost. Breakfast buffet was amazing.

ひがし茶屋街らしく金沢 Hotel Rashiku kanazawa fica em Kanazawa a 2,7 km de Estação de Trem Kanazawa e a 3,5 km de Myoryuji - Ninja Temple. Location was great as it was right in the Higashi Chaya district but on the quieter side so it wasn’t too crowded. About 15 min walk to Kenrokuen / Kanazawa Castle, and 3 min walk to the nearest bus stop. Room was clean and new, and we loved the fact that we could stay in a historical district in a historical building with traditional designs, but still get to enjoy modern facilities. There was also a welcome snack of Japanese wagashi which was a nice touch! Concierge speaks good English.

Even before we arrived our host made us feel at home. From being picked up at the train station to being packed a takeaway breakfast on our last day we were taken such good care of. The location is excellent. Room was comfortable and spacious. The home made breakfasts (included in the price) were a highlight and a great start to each day.

This was truly the best accomodation we have ever stayed in and for sure the best during our 3 weeks travel across Japan. The accomodation basically consists of a two floored house (so much space is so rare in Japan), with a beautiful modern bathroom on ground level including a bathtube facing out to a wonderful zen garden. The main rooms are on the first floor with a massive living room, a tatami room and a bedroom with the biggest and most comfortable bed. All rooms were spotless clean, bathrobes and pyjamas were offered. The bedroom view and balcony to the zen garden outside created a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. One of the best things definitely was the breakfast which is provided in an extra breakfast room downstairs at the café (which you cannot here from the flat) - not only is the room beautiful and very special but the breakfast itself was absolutely delicious: every day different sorts of freshly baked bread, incredibel pastries (so pretty!), fresh fruit and vegetables created in the most delicious and delicate way. We couldnt have asked or wished for more. On top of all this is Ryoko as lovely, welcoming and very thoughtful and caring host (pick up service from the train station, extra blankets unasked when the weather turned colder). This accomodation made our trip to Kanazawa extra special and unforgettable!
