Take-san was incredibly pleasant and courteous, always ready to assist whenever I needed help—even offering a convenient airport shuttle. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, and the entire property was clean and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in and would gladly stay here again.

Now my second time and my go for place to stay on this beautiful island. i enjoy the tatami room, but also there is one room with a western bed. a kitchen with everything what is needed to prepare food and tea / coffee. I hope you enjoy this place like I do.

Amazing host!! We had a great conversation during the evening, he shared local suchu with me which I loved and his house is beautiful and cozy. I wished I stayed longer. Also it is just next to the bus station that goes directly to the airport which is super convenient

Dinner was not expensive and very tasty.

There is a lovely common space where you can cook and hang out! The beach right down the street is beautiful and empty and you can rent so many different water activities! Only thing: restaurants around the place are often closed or far away, you can take the bus there (which is going every half an hour until ~19:00) or make sure you have at least something you can eat ready at the hostel so in case you don't find something you are settled. There is a convenience store right next to the hostel.
