Located in Kyoto and with Kyoto Station reachable within less than 1 km, Dusit Thani Kyoto provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a bar. Most of all, services of the hotel is superb. I had been there during Cherry blossom season, the hotel provided Cherry blossom news of the blooming everyday. Concierge team of the hotel was very attentive, they recommended and booked many good places to eat for us. Breakfast is very good with many choices in both buffet and a la carte menu, including some Thai food. I had dinner at Koyo, teppanyagi restaurant at the hotel, it was also very good cooking and reasonable price.

Located in Izumi-Sano, 400 metres from Rinku Pleasure Town Seacle Shopping Centre, Odysis Suites Osaka Airport Hotel features views of the city. Great location near a mall with a shuttle service to the airport.

Located in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station, Gion Elite Terrace provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Loved the amazing friendly and helpful  staff, who gave us good advice and discussions. Great location in central Gion in a quiet street but walking distance to almost anything.  Great variety and range of eating places and the river close by and of course as many temples as you need with cool peaceful gardens as well as museums. Nishiki Market is a short bus ride or interesting 20min walk.  The room was beautiful and fully equipped incl a small kitchenette, electric blackout curtains and lots of tech Breakfasts were copious and varied to suit most tastes, best scrambled egss in Japan. Amazingly bestiful designer chairs in a little sitting area and free laundry room was an unexpected bonus!

In a prime location in Osaka, Centara Grand Hotel Osaka provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, private parking and room service. I stayed here for 5 nights, 6 days and honestly it was the best hotel I stayed at for the two weeks I traveled across Japan. It located steps from Namba Station which is a huge plus. The staff working the hotel from the front desk to the restaurants were extremely helpful and friendly. I had a king room on the upper floors that overlooked Namba Station and the views at night were beautiful. Very spacious room, comfortable bed and the rainfall shower was a huge plus. Well worth the money.

Spacious rooms for Japan standards! It is in a quiet/non busy area which we appreciated. There were free amenities and drinks in the lobby, they even served free flowing wine on Christmas Day. 7Eleven, Family Mart, Lawson, and Sukiya were all within walking distance. We likewise walked around 15-20mins to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, enjoyed the leisurely stroll. Easy to call for taxi or Uber in front of hotel.

Excellent choice, near Nishiki Market, 20 min walk to Gion area, in a very peaceful area. It’s a small boutique hotel, very clean. Staff very kind. It has a ATM form money exchange. They offer tipical japanese pijamas. Only one stop from Kyoto station

Set in Shirahama and only 700 metres from Shirarahama Beach, クリスタルエグゼ南紀白浜2 offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. We loved everything! The house is very special, a member of an ecology program, they have a clean water , huge space of the rooms, nice breakfast. Food can be delivered to the room. Staff is so nice!
