Beppu Hatto Onyado Nono Beppu menawarkan akomodasi bintang 3, berlokasi di Beppu, 20 km dari Showa Denko Dome Oita dan 6 menit jalan kaki dari Stasiun JR Beppu. Comfortable but with very tiny rooms. Unusual experience {which we liked} for a big hotel is that you must not wear shoes at any place in the hotel. All floors are carpeted with tatami mats, which are beautiful, but since this hotel caters a lot to tour groups, the front doors become jammed when a bus comes in and people must remove their shoes. Tour groups also bottleneck at the elevators and restaurant. Breakfasts looked great, but we wouldn't go when tours were lined up. Excellent coffee always available. Outdoor onsen was tiny (maybe 3 meters by 3 meters). Indoor onsen was large enough, but not hot enough. Great location with lots of restaurants nearby. Fantastic English-speaking staff. Dormy's HR Dept know their stuff. We'd stay again, despite the small rooms and small onsen. Visit the very old downtown onsen, Takegawara, , a must, and the seafront walk, Good bakery (Mermaid) at the train station. Liveely downtown area.

The hotel's entrance is something different. The huge doors and the scent you smell as you get inside the building is incredible. The email I got with all the information on how to find the hotel was super helpful. Food was brilliant, and the views with the outside gardens overseeing Kumamoto is amazing. The mix of the hotel and outside gardens, nature at the 8th floor of a building is gorgeous. The room has a bit if a tradional feel with a walk-in shower room and separate room for toilet. If you plan to visit Kumamoto or somewhere near, do consider staying at this hotel.

They were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. I’m traveling Japan for a month and this has been my absolute favorite place. I stayed in a room with a private onsen. The room, onsen, view - everything was just so wonderful. it’s a 10 minute walk to town but I really enjoyed it! if you’re on the fence, book your stay here! you will not regret it. arigato gozaimashita to the staff!

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Okunoyu has one of the best outdoor onsens in Kurokawa, views from the riverside bath are just stunning. Food was great as expected. Even the "mountain view" room has a great view outside. The room itself is comfy, might get a bit cold at night though.

Yawaragi-no-Sato Yadoya features 6 hot spring baths, a Japanese restaurant and universal design, only a 2-minute walk from the picturesque Yu-no-Tsubo Kaido (Yu-no-Tsubo Road). Well thought facilities with good service support. Excellent room layout.

Located in the heart of the city, Hotel Nikko Kumamoto features accommodations with free wired internet access and views of Kumamoto Castle. High-level service. The hotel is a bit dated, but its very central location makes it great value for money.

Open from September 2019, only 150 metres from JR Hakata Train Station, Miyako Hotel Hakata offers stylish rooms with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Onsen on 13/F with sauna is super nice. Rooms are big. Staffs are super helpful, professional and speak good English.
