I Kumano, bare 2 minutters gange fra Odomari-stranden og 4,7 kilometer fra Ubuta Shrine ligger Oninosanpomichi. They were the nicest people 😭✨ I arrived early so I only leave the luggage first. Later when I did the check in, I felt very welcomed, they gave me a piece of homemade cheesecake that the Mom makes herself, it was delicious, and also they gave me an oni amulet. The room was so confortable and I really enjoyed the bathtub!. At the next morning I have the french toast for breakfast (delicious) that the Mom prepared 🥹 and in my check out the sun gave me a ride to the station. Everything was perfect, I really wanted to say goodbye to the Mom but I didn't see her at my way out. It was so nice to meet them all.

Very authentic Japanese guest house experience with a lovely host. We stayed 3 nights and it allowed us to really explore Ise, Toba and Futamino rocks. Our host lent us bicycles which was fun to go to the rocks. It was very near a supermarket and local good Isekaya for food.

I Odaicho, bare 38 kilometer fra Ise Jingu-tempelet og 37 kilometer fra Oharai-machi ligger Fairfield by Marriott Mie Okuise Odai. The staff is great, very helpful. The free coffee is a nice plus.

I Ise, bare 8,6 kilometer fra Ise Jingu-tempelet og 8,2 kilometer fra Oharai-machi ligger Guesthouse Ise Futami. A very fancy little hostel, very clean and there are tons of accomodations on site such as free towels, chargers, slippers, soap/face wash and bike rental options! The host is super chill and knowledgeable about the best locations in the ise area.

I Mihama, bare 10 kilometer fra Ubuta Shrine og 11 kilometer fra Kumano Hayatama Taisha ligger Fairfield by Marriott Mie Kumano Kodo Mihama. Our stay at Fairfield by Marriott was incredible. The hotel was lovely, and our room was beautiful and so comfy. We booked for 2 nights but decided to extend for 1 more as it was in the perfect area for places we planned to visit, and again, it was just so comfy. The staff were so friendly, especially Enomoto, who helped us and was very kind. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Mie!

I Ise, 6,3 kilometer fra Ise Jingu-tempelet, ligger Heart Hostel and Diner 女性専用Onlyfemale, som har en fellesstue, privat parkering, en restaurant og en bar. Everything. So clean and all facilities are available. The room was blessedly warm. Every rule written in English and explained well by the owner. The rock and roll design of the diner was an added bonus for me. The breakfast was so yummy. Simple but filling. I loved everything about it. Had a great night sleep.

Boasting hot spring baths and a beautiful garden overlooking the ocean, Toba International Hotel Shiojitei offers luxurious accommodation in Toba. It is great hotel. Room was big, comfortable, beautiful with big windows and view on the ocean. Exceptionally delicious breakfast and great hot springs. Thank you very much for amazing stay!

Ise Guest House Kazami ligger i Ise, bare 5,8 kilometer fra Ise Jingu-tempelet og 3,5 kilometer fra Oharai-machi. The room was as advertised, staff was super helpful and I really enjoyed the bike rental - perfect for getting around Ise! Thank you :)

Absolutely Incredible Stay – Beyond Expectations! Our stay at this onsen house was next level incredible! We were two families travelling together (11 of us in total, with kids aged 3–13), and this home fit us all with ease, comfort and so much space to breathe. Every single detail has been so thoughtfully designed from the layout and functionality to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that made it instantly feel like home. The onsen was my absolute favourite part. Pure heaven! Being able to soak and unwind after long days exploring was such a gift, and it quickly became everyone’s nightly ritual. The kids loved the open spaces, the adults loved the calm and comfort, and we all appreciated how effortless everything felt. There was so much room for connection and privacy and you can tell the hosts have really thought of everything to make a stay smooth, relaxing, and memorable. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer as it was that good. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of luxury, functionality and soul-soothing relaxation, this place is it. Perfect location for us with a car and close to great attractions too.
