The home is beautiful, roomy, clean and peaceful, and thoughtfully appointed with everything needed for a home base. The location is convenient to the train station and a bus stop from where a route goes past the Ise Shrine, and about a 30 minute walk to the Meoto Iwa. The hosts were informative and kind, and helpfully picked us up from the train station as well as dropped us off. Would love to stay there again.

I Ise, bare 8,6 kilometer fra Ise Jingu-tempelet og 8,2 kilometer fra Oharai-machi ligger Guesthouse Ise Futami. A very fancy little hostel, very clean and there are tons of accomodations on site such as free towels, chargers, slippers, soap/face wash and bike rental options! The host is super chill and knowledgeable about the best locations in the ise area.

I Mihama, bare 10 kilometer fra Ubuta Shrine og 11 kilometer fra Kumano Hayatama Taisha ligger Fairfield by Marriott Mie Kumano Kodo Mihama. We were genuinely quite surprised at how nice this hotel was. Visiting as part of a three week tour for our honeymoon, we stayed in 9 hotels, and some swanky ones costing almost 10x this per night. Somehow I remember this over most of them. Value for money, this was the best out of them all. Service was amazing (obviously, it's Japan). The reception, halls and rooms were mostly made out of wood and with the lighting low and moody, it was a very chilled and relaxing place to be. The bed was gigantic, and the amenities in the room just what you need - really good shower with good shampoo and gel, mirrors, water, tea & coffee with a kettle, pj's etc. In addition, there's a communal area on the ground floor with a fridge containing frozen fresh soups (didn't try), and a microwave, kettle, and all of the utensils for dinner in a kitchen area nearby. It's on a main-ish road but we couldn't hear any noise at all in case you have concerns. There's no restaraunt here but they offer bento boxes for breakfast. I'd highly recommend the Benkei restaraunt over the road for some extremely nice Ramen!

I Ise, 6,3 kilometer fra Ise Jingu-tempelet, ligger Heart Hostel and Diner 女性専用Onlyfemale, som har en fellesstue, privat parkering, en restaurant og en bar. The place was very convenient - 4 minutes from Iseshi station. The host was kind and offered complimentary breakfast, which was deliscious. The room was very neat and facilities clean. I really got a good nights sleep and was refreshed by the breakfast.

Ise Guest House Kazami ligger i Ise, bare 5,8 kilometer fra Ise Jingu-tempelet og 3,5 kilometer fra Oharai-machi. Very unique and beautiful design of the guest house. The owner and a staff were really friendly and kind. Close to the nearest station and one of the main shrines in Ise.

Located 500 metres from Kintetsu Iseshi Train Station, Hoshidekan Ryokan (a member of the Japanese Inn Group) is a wooden building that was built in the 1920's and provides Japanese-style rooms with... Very nice and well maintained traditional guest house. The host and staff are very friendly and helpful. Normally they prepare some hot drinking water in a thermal bottle in your room but i finished it overnight, so I was asking for refill in the first morning. When I came back the same evening, they even put the whole big thermal kettle for me in my room so I could drink hot water as much as i needed, so thoughtful! (it was a cold week)

Absolutely Incredible Stay – Beyond Expectations! Our stay at this onsen house was next level incredible! We were two families travelling together (11 of us in total, with kids aged 3–13), and this home fit us all with ease, comfort and so much space to breathe. Every single detail has been so thoughtfully designed from the layout and functionality to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that made it instantly feel like home. The onsen was my absolute favourite part. Pure heaven! Being able to soak and unwind after long days exploring was such a gift, and it quickly became everyone’s nightly ritual. The kids loved the open spaces, the adults loved the calm and comfort, and we all appreciated how effortless everything felt. There was so much room for connection and privacy and you can tell the hosts have really thought of everything to make a stay smooth, relaxing, and memorable. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer as it was that good. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of luxury, functionality and soul-soothing relaxation, this place is it. Perfect location for us with a car and close to great attractions too.
