WOW what a hotel - rooms, staff - everything felt luxury and special. Great location within easy walking distance to the main train station and also our favorite car hire facility. So many choices in the area to eat and shop and see stunning Sendai. Outstanding!

Located in Matsushima, 10 km from Shiogama Shrine, Matsushima Koumura features accommodation with a hot tub and a public bath. Beautiful, traditional ryokan not far from Matsushima Station. You can get to the main attractions in Matsushima on foot in about 20-30 minutes comfortably. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating. Great experience!

Offering a fitness centre free of charge, Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East has direct access to Sendai Station. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Great location, comfortable and big rooms. Laundry was easy and fast and we stored our bags before check in and after check out which was simple

Situated in Takagi, 11 km from Shiogama Shrine, Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL features air-conditioned accommodation and a bar. Very nice people, clean facilities, cute bar downstairs, with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast (paid). It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.

Set in Ishinomaki, within 37 km of Shiogama Shrine and 49 km of Sendai City Community Support Center, Tama Hotel offers accommodation with a restaurant and as well as free private parking for guests... The owner was very accommodating and even drove us to the port to get to Tashirojima Island. You can also feed and play with the cats :)

Situated in Matsushima in the Miyagi region with Entsuin Temple nearby, Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse features accommodation with free private parking. The host speaks good English and is very nice and helpful and open to just chatting. The location was great with easy access by foot to two train stations and just a minute up from the main street and the shoreline and just a few minutes walk from the plenty of things worth exploring.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. This is a very special place. The staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, and the fact that we only speak English was handled effortlessly. We were picked up from the parking lot and received a warm and professional welcome. The food was excellent, with a wide and well-considered selection. The cake and birthday decorations we requested were prepared with great care and were much appreciated. The stay feels like a quiet step back in time. The baths are beautiful, the room was spacious and refined, and the historic building has a character that invites you to wander its corridors at ease.

Set on 28-36th floors of Sendai's tallest building, The Westin Sendai offers a luxurious accommodation just a 10-minute walk from JR Sendai Station. This hotel is on the top of an office block and has a fabulous view with extraordinary windows. The room was large and very well appointed.

Located right in front of Matsushima Bay, Komatsukan Kofu-tei offers accommodations with free wired internet access. Phenomenal stay! The staff was so friendly and professional. The views are one of the best I’ve ever seen! The onsen views are breathtaking. We also booked the private bath and it was perfect! We only had traditional breakfast and it was divine. We loved every minute of our stay here! We’ll definitely be back! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
