They create a welcoming environment with sense of community so all guests can make friends with each other.

The room I stayed in was wonderful and spacious, and the view was exeptional. The staff were really friendly. Getting to the location from Miyazaki airport is quite easy, via bus or train.

Opened in April 2014 after a thorough renovation, this ryokan features spacious guest rooms surrounded by tranquil mountains. Loved this accomodation private onsen and sauna were a treat. Dinner and breakfast were traditional Japanese and delicious. Were able to purchase wine on property which was reasonably priced and locally made. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay

I Takachiho, bare 6 minutters gange fra Takachiho Shrine og 1,8 kilometer fra Takachiho Gorge ferskvannsfiskakvarium ligger Ryokan Shinsen. Incredible property and the ryokan was immaculate, tranquil and friendly. The staff were all wonderful and the owner is very kind. We were late to our gorge boat and she gave us a lift in the van. The meals were also wonderful. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Thank you again!

This is the best apartment that I have stayed in my 2-week vacation in Kyushu. Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night (original was 2 nights) as our flight from Yakushima island was cancelled due to bad weather. Rather than flying, we took the Toppy jetfoil. Host was kind enough to adjust our stay from 2 nights to 1 night. This place has everything and better amenities/facilities than hotels. Very good experience.
