Thoughtful toiletries are provided both in the bathing area and in your room, along with comfortable yukatas and even traditional socks for the evening. There is so much heart in this ryokan: in every detail, in every gesture, and in every smile, even in the little dog who greets you upon arrival. From your room, you can admire a lovely view of the city, surrounded by the peaceful mountain where the ryokan rests, and even enjoy the charming cable car ride that takes you up the hillside.

お宿さつき奈良五條 localiza-se em Gojō, a 29 km de Subaru Hall e a 37 km de Tanpi Shrine. Very quiet location in a smaller town. The common area was great. Shogo had some great recommendations for places to eat and an onsen two minutes away.

We are very thankful to them for letting us store our luggage after our checkout for a couple of hours and they offered to drop us to the bus station aswelll. They are very kind. They have two goats aswell called ponyo and peo.

From there, it’s only about 10 minutes to Nara and under an hour to Kyoto or Osaka. - The inn is run by a wonderful American‑Japanese couple who make the experience feel more like staying with family than at a hotel. - Breakfast is fantastic, and the shared common area with a TV has a cozy, home‑like atmosphere. - Every room is stocked with all the essentials. Some have private bathrooms, others have shared facilities, but everything is thoughtfully arranged. - Plenty of hot water and comfortable Japanese futons round out the stay.
