Urasa Cottage @ Snow Countryside si trova a Minami Uonuma, a 29 km da Comprensorio Sciistico di Gala Yuzawa e 25 km da Maiko Snow Resort. I’ve been staying at Urasa Cottage for a couple of days, and I must say I truly felt at home. The host is very friendly, and the house is quite new and clean. It’s also not too far from the station. I already miss it ❤️ I’ll be back soon~

Vicina a combini, ristoranti e supermercati, e a pochi minuti a piedi dal mare. Le camere e le parti comuni erano pulitissime ed in ottime condizioni. Abbiamo soggiornato in tre nella camera familiare ed era enorme. Una menzione speciale alla proprietaria, che, nonostante non parlasse molto bene inglese, con l'aiuto di Google Translate,ci ha consigliato dove mangiare e cosa visitare e ci ha aiutato in tutto. Consigliatissimo!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful, authentic old Japanese home. Its location is perfect for exploring the Echigo-Tsumari Art Festival, and there are plenty of onsens (hot springs) to enjoy nearby.We didn't even use the shower, preferring the onsens! ​The house itself is a hidden gem, a testament to the owners' wonderful aesthetic sense. It's filled with beautiful old and antique Japanese treasures. It is clean, well-maintained, and truly a piece of art in its own right. Above all, the owners were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit.

But what truly set this place apart was the heartfelt hospitality of the hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. They ensured we had all the information regarding transportation. Their generosity extended to offering us rides, making our stay incredibly convenient.

Pension Moomin Papa is a very cute and cosy home from home. It was very warm with lovely underfloor heating, clean and tidy. You can order home cooked breakfast and dinner. The other travellers were nice and friendly. I loved my stay here!

This family run ryokan is great value for money and the hosts go above and beyond for their guests! We had an amazing weekend, attending Fuji Rock festival in the vicinity with the hotel offering us free shuttle service to and from the nearest train station and tips about the surrounding area.

Situato a Minami Uonuma, a 2 km dal Maiko Snow Resort, il Maruyama Onsen Kojyokan offre una terrazza e una vasca termale. Il parcheggio privato è gratuito. The staff was accommodating, kind, and helpful. The shuttle was super convenient, as was scheduling. The food was amazing!

Yuzawa Grand Hotel is within a 2-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Train Station and the Sake Museum. It offers 3 public baths, a massage service and free parking on site. Beautifully situated Onsen Spa in the mountains, excellent meals

Immerso in un paesaggio tranquillo, il Kogakuro offre piacevoli camere in stile giapponese con molta luce naturale. Mieko-san and the rest of the team are super! It was well organized and breakfast + dinner are tasty. The room is big and comfortable with nice mountain view.. Close to the ski lift and there are many restaurants around. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
