Beppu Hatto Onyado Nono Beppu is set in Beppu, 20 km from Crasus Dome Oita and 12 km from Oita Station. Featuring a restaurant, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Comfortable but with very tiny rooms. Unusual experience {which we liked} for a big hotel is that you must not wear shoes at any place in the hotel. All floors are carpeted with tatami mats, which are beautiful, but since this hotel caters a lot to tour groups, the front doors become jammed when a bus comes in and people must remove their shoes. Tour groups also bottleneck at the elevators and restaurant. Breakfasts looked great, but we wouldn't go when tours were lined up. Excellent coffee always available. Outdoor onsen was tiny (maybe 3 meters by 3 meters). Indoor onsen was large enough, but not hot enough. Great location with lots of restaurants nearby. Fantastic English-speaking staff. Dormy's HR Dept know their stuff. We'd stay again, despite the small rooms and small onsen. Visit the very old downtown onsen, Takegawara, , a must, and the seafront walk, Good bakery (Mermaid) at the train station. Liveely downtown area.

BeppuOnsen Hotel Sansenkaku, a property with an open-air bath, is situated in Beppu, 20 km from Crasus Dome Oita, 700 metres from Beppu Station, as well as 12 km from Oita Station. The hotel lobby is beautiful and cheerful. The front desk staff changed the channel on the lobby wide screen television, so we could watch the American World Series! They also let us know the channel to access the game on our room televisions. The rooms were small but enough for us to relax in and with a view of the ocean. Breakfast was exceptional and we enjoyed some of the daring combinations.

Keittiövälineet aamiaista varten oli riittävä. Aamiaistarpeita kannattaa ostaa ison ostoskeskuksen alakerrasta. Sängyt olivat leveät ja mukavat. Huoneemme oli sisäänkäynnin vieressä, mutta onneksi yöt olivat rauhallisia. Rautatieaseman takaa lähtevät bussit mm. Beppu Jigoku kuumien lähteiden kylään. Situated in Yufu, 44 km from Crasus Dome Oita, Bessou Konjakuan features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. As a family of four, we stayed at a handful of hotels during our time in Japan. This was our favorite by far. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day here, and it was nothing short of magical. Since our time was short, we barely left the resort. Our personal onsen was dreamy, and we also had access to the communal pool. The meals were beautiful and gave us the opportunity to try traditional dishes. Our room was very clean, cozy, and spacious. We had a Japanese-style room and found the futons to be very comfortable. There was a TV in the room, but we didn't feel the need to turn it on. The wifi was strong enough for all our needs as well. Although our Japanese is very limited, the staff made an effort to communicate with us. This was very much appreciated! We relied heavily on Google Translate. As parents with teenage boys, it's difficult to find something the entire family enjoys, but this was it!

Plenty of space, multiple bedrooms, full sized kitchen and dining area. Very good price (mid June). Well lit, very clean. Walking distance to many places.

Set in Beppu and only 24 km from Crasus Dome Oita, 徳の宿 ふぶ庵 offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The friendly and helpful staff made such a difference to our stay. The house is very clean and having 2 of your own onsens in the room is really a great experience.

5.3 km from Beppu Station in Beppu, 日本旅館 器 別府鉄輪 nihonryokan utsuwa beppukannnawa features accommodation with access to a hot spring bath, spa facilities and public bath. Free beer in the lobby and onsen eggs outside the entrance. The footbath on the roof is always awesome. The onsens are great (including the in-room onsen). The room itself is excellent. The staff is exceptional. It was our second time visiting this ryokan and as we were leaving, one of the staff members said she recognized us from last year because we were in the lobby drinking beer again, so that gave us a good laugh!

Boasting a balcony with mountain views, an infinity pool and an open-air bath, TERRA Yufuin can be found in Yufu, close to Iwashita Collection and 47 km from Crasus Dome Oita. No breakfast provided but the villa offers a lot of cooking equipment. Self check in and it's very quickly and simple. The equipment and washing machine are very clean and well. It's very spacious！ The view of the terrace is refreshed and relaxed. The onsen is awesome！ The bath is big enough for 3 kids to stay in. Everything is fine to our family and we all enjoyed the stay in Terra villa.
