Each accommodation at the 3-star ryokan has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a hot spring bath and a public bath. The ryokan features family rooms. The hotel lobby is beautiful and cheerful. The front desk staff changed the channel on the lobby wide screen television, so we could watch the American World Series! They also let us know the channel to access the game on our room televisions. The rooms were small but enough for us to relax in and with a view of the ocean. Breakfast was exceptional and we enjoyed some of the daring combinations.

This ryokan is a peaceful oasis where everything is perfect: the quiet atmosphere, the warmth of the owners, the beauty and comfort of the room, the luxury of the private onsen, and the delicious breakfasts and dinner. Moreover, Beppu is a wonderful little place and I've fallen in love with it. My stay at Manrikiya was beyond my expectation. As I told the owners: it was a dream come true, 夢が叶いました! どうもありがとうございます

Amazing property and terrific value for money. The room we stayed was seperate from the main building (a 2’ walk away) had an onsen bath + outdoor onsen areas and was simply stunning. Such a luxurious feel! You’re own private spa. Good location as well - walkable distance from the sights. (Hells of Beppu etc..) Would highly recommend.
