The facilities were exceptional with a nice LARGE bath, plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. Owner was very caring and filled the fridge with delicious local food, including the legendary Okayama Pione grape. Will come again next time we need to stay at Okayama!

Set in Tamano, in a historic building, 24 km from Sogenji Temple, Guest House Toranjyo-lit is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and shared lounge. We had a great stay at toranjyo lit, a traditional ryokan house. It is simple but has everything you need and it’s very charming. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, giving us tips how to structure our nioshima/teshima trip and picking us up from the bus stop.

From the minute we arrived till the moment we left could not be faulted. True taste of Japanese tradition cuisine & culture.
