Offering a shared lounge and mountain view, Rishiri Antique Inn is located in Rishiri, 27 km from Mt. Rishiri and 700 metres from Kutsugata Harbor. The room and beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. But the reason to come here is the host Yuki-San! He was not only the best host we’ve had in Japan, but the best host we’ve ever had anywhere. His English is excellent and he has a lot of knowledge and curiosity, all making it a pleasure to speak with him. He also knows a lot about the Island so you really get to understand and experience life here. He is truly a one of a kind person (and also a great cook).

The FOOD was delectable and nutritious, with lots of variety to taste. We had fun with the hotel outfits too. The onsen was very nice. It was a very authentic Japanese experience in Island Inn Rishiri.
