Yuki made our stay in Rishiri memorable and unique. We would 100% recommend anyone wishing to discover the « true » Rishiri to stay here. We were able to enjoy so many hidden gems thanks to Yuki. The inn is lovely, full of delicate treasures from all over the world. It is I deally situated (less than 5mn walking from an amazing Onsen and several delicious restaurants). Out of our 3 month travel in Japan, definitely one of the best experiences we had and the best host.

Friendly staff und guests. Very respectful and considerate. I also liked the style of the hostel. Well equipped. I had a dorm japanese style to share with two others and it was very comfortable. Be aware: It is a quiet hostel so many lights turned of at 9 pm, officially it is 10 pm. Do not come for party!

They went the extra mile to get everything we needed. Examples: We don't eat seafood so they changed our table for supper to non seafood. They called my next hotel to book the shuttle bus as the other hotel never returned my email. They made sure at check-in all activities were booked so they could send us on shuttle bus to start and end the bus tour.

Short walk to the Ferry and short walk to the onsen up the hill. The tatami mats with futon cushion makes for a firm bed! This is exactly what one should expect from a traditional Japanese room. Not a negative, just good to understand beforehand for westerners.
