Bike rental available. EXCELLENT quality espresso bean AND machine. QUALITY and QUANTITY of dinner option available for a good price. Close enough to a big onsen, bus terminal, and Kutsugata Port. Reading material for English travellers. Lots of great activities and restaurants around.

I Oshidomari, bare 25 kilometer fra Rishiri- fjellet og 12 kilometer fra Kutsugata Harbor ligger Rishiri Greenhill Inn. They have a pick up service at the ferry terminal and they also took me to the base of Mount Rishiri. The staff was friendly. The common areas are spacious.

They went the extra mile to get everything we needed. Examples: We don't eat seafood so they changed our table for supper to non seafood. They called my next hotel to book the shuttle bus as the other hotel never returned my email. They made sure at check-in all activities were booked so they could send us on shuttle bus to start and end the bus tour.

I Rishirifuji, 24 kilometer fra Rishiri- fjellet, ligger Shimanoyado Kamuirishiri, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. Beautiful room. Excellent location. Short walk to the Ferry and short walk to the onsen up the hill. The tatami mats with futon cushion makes for a firm bed! This is exactly what one should expect from a traditional Japanese room. Not a negative, just good to understand beforehand for westerners.
