Unsui 武雄蓬莱町 雲水 situa-se na área de Takeo Onsen, em Takeo, a 37 km de Huis Ten Bosch, menos de 1 km de Estação Ferroviária Takeo-Onsen e 10 km de Takeo Ureshino Marchen Village (parque de diversões). Our stay at the Unsui was most memorable — in a good way, of course. On a trip where many accommodations tend to blur together, we have no trouble remembering this one. The flat is Japanese in style, with the exception of a rustic European-style kitchen, and is an excellent introduction to Japanese living, especially for those more accustomed to Western-style hotels. It was a pleasure to have the space of an entire flat, with plenty of storage and all the facilities one might need, including a washing machine. Satomi and Hal made us feel welcome right from the start. Satomi speaks excellent English and provided plenty of helpful advice. The Unsui is located in Takeo’s hot-spring district — a charming town with several attractions and a great place to escape the bustle of major cities. From the balcony window, we could see a traditional wooden onsen and listen to its gentle trickle of water. With a little sake, one might imagine having stepped into the world of Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away. Our only regret is that, since we originally planned Takeo as a base from which to see other places, we didn’t spend nearly enough time there during the day. One day, we hope to remedy that.

It was a really nice hotel. The owner was very nice and there was no inconvenience. If I have to go back to Karatsu, I think I'd like to stay there again. Anyway, I really recommend this hotel.

Hotel Imari Aioibashi Bettei situa-se em Imari, a cerca de 28 km de Huis Ten Bosch e 19 km de Parque de Porcelana de Arita (parque temático). Room layout, extremely clean, had parking.

Guest House Maru encontra-se em Kashima, a 47 km de Parque Histórico de Yoshinogari, e apresenta acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito e um bar. Amazing location, 2' from the station, 5' from "brewery street", 10' from convenient store. Friendly and helpful staff, he gave me some area must sees. I was travelling with a bike, they were so nice about it and made so easy, which I was so grateful for. The dormitory was very comfortable and clean. The shared bathroom/toilet were kept super clean and tidy. The common space was very friendly and tidy, with a shared all amenities kitchen. It felt very at home! It's a very cute and homey vibe guesthouse! The area has a lot to offer too, would highly recommend staying there!

O Karatsu Seaside Hotel disponibiliza acomodações em Higashi Karatsu. Os hóspedes podem desfrutar do restaurante no local. I had a great sea and mountain view and I had the pleasure of watching beautiful sunrise from my balcony. This hotel was more luxurious than I thought. The room was very spacious. The spa was also top notch.

We highly recommend Keramiek Arita for a cosy and unique experience in a beautiful guesthouse! We visited in December and stayed in the Japanese-styled room, which was gorgeous and spacious. The shared bathrooms were clean, the living room (with huge christmas tree) was cosy, and the free parking lot in the frontyard was convenient. Even though old Japanese houses get quite cold in the winter, we were warm and comfortable thanks to the build-in heating in our room. Keramiek Arita is owned by Hanneke, who is the most welcoming and kind host. She has extensive knowledge of Arita and Kyushu, knows the history of the area and has great recommendations on what to visit and where to eat. Don’t miss out on the excellent and affordable yakitori restaurant 5 min walking from the guesthouse. Our stay was perfect and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thanks to Hanneke for making us feel at home in her guesthouse. We’ll definitely come back here in the future!

I liked the room with the view of the mountains and how peaceful it was . The room was clean . The staff is professional and helpful . The breakfast was good too . Complimentary drinks in the fridge very very appreciated.

The hotel looks classic. There is a gallery in the hotel. Staffs are very good service . Japanese futon, comfortable to sleep on.
