Wonderful stay, beautiful facilities and very hospitable staff. Loved the room and the spaceous bathroom and bath. The views are great on each floor and from the balcony I could even see the Hikone castle. Wonderful sunset too. Dinner and breakfast were plenty and very tasty. Lived the sakura mousse dessert and french toast for breakfast. They also offered wine on the 10th floor and soba after onsen visit. Onsen was amazing, the outside pool had a great view straight on the lake. Stayed there about 3 hours in the evening, very relaxing. They also oranized a tranfer to Maibara eki, no stress when leaving the hotel for shinkansen. Souvenir shop.had some beautiful art, so had to grab a couple of chopaticks holders and postcards as well before leaving.

The property is located in a unique neighborhood, close to shops and restaurants. It is also a walking distance from the Nagahama Castle and the Biwako. The room was very spacious and well equipped, total silence during the night. The hotel also provided some mini bar snacks and cup ramen. The parking lot was easy to find and there were signs indicating where the reception was. We would totally come back for another visit!

The host warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond by preparing both breakfast and dinner, which were absolutely delicious. What I appreciated most was the common area, which provided a wonderful space for our family to gather and connect. The host was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, ensuring that we had everything we needed. This has been one of my favorite BnBs in Japan during my 10 years of travel experience. Our family had an excellent time, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

It was a very roomy place, especially for Japan. We invited some local friends over for a long lunch for example. Complete kitchen, big refrigerator, made entertaining easy. Comfortable bathroom facilities, excellent hot water, free parking quiet neighborhood but not too remote. I recommend it for any 2 or 4 family people who want to stay in the area.

Well located and the historic neighborhood walking distance from almost every site. The bathroom building was very nice and modern and clean. The main house building was also very spacious and comfortable. The bikes were great for getting around town. And I absolutely loved the private Japanese garden in between the two buildings. even in the winter snow, it made it a delight to go back-and-forth between the two buildings to use the restroom or shower. I would have enjoyed staying another day. Thank you for offering such a restful and peaceful place to stay. I enjoyed my time here much more than I expected. It was lovely.

Guesthouse En é uma acomodação em Omihachiman com bicicletas grátis e jardim. Templo Enryaku-ji fica a 34 km de distância, Templo Sanzen-in fica a 35 km e Monte Hiei fica a 35 km. The body was sweet and helpful, he came to pick us up from the station and took us back the next morning, the house was beautiful and special. In the evening we took the bycicles to ride around town. The old town is sweet. I wish we'd spent there more time than we did

Marumo Ryokan is an authentic Japanese ryokan and is hands down the best we’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, it is impeccably clean, and the meals are a delicious traditional feast. The hosts are very accommodating and thoughtful. We took the train to Omi-Iwazu and then rode back to Omi-Takashima, where we rented bikes to visit the Shirahige shrine. We also went to Makino to spend some time at the beach. Our entire group of five wished we had planned to stay for 2 or 3 nights instead of one. It was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the rest of our trip and we would hands down all choose to stay there again!

Lovely food, staff, baths, own private dining room, meticulous service and very clean area. I think it’s almost impossible to top in those regards. The room with its own hotspring was divine. The massage was excellent. Would recommend.
