Featuring mountain views and a garden, 馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou offers accommodation attractively situated in Nakatsugawa, within a short distance of Toson Memorial Museum, Magome Wakihonjin... Extraordinary settings, it was the most unusual place we stayed during our trip throughout Japan. The rooms were clean and had everything you need, the beds in the shared rooms were surprisingly spacious and the staff was very kind and attentive.

What a luxurious stay. From the walk in to the the elevator, up to the lobby, to the view overlooking the city at the reception, to the amazing view from our room itself, we can say little more than “Wow!” Everything felt upscale, and comfortable, and well sized for two people. We stayed on the 28th floor; slept and woke up to the city of Nagoya. The gym was nice to use, as was the sauna and the laundry facilities.

Well situated in the centre of Takayama, Mercure Hida Takayama offers air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. New property with very well appointed rooms. The location is excellent; close to the train station & 20min walk into the main part of town. The onsen was also fantastic!

熱海温泉 実の別荘 features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 1.6 km of Atami Sun Beach and 27 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station. Close to 来宮駅 Kinomiya Station just next to Atami. I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

The private onsen is at a good price point and brings an already lovely hotel up a level. Located right next to the train station and bus terminal, making it very convenient for our two nights in Takayama

SOKI ATAMI features a sauna and a hot spring bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Atami, 1.7 km from Atami Sun Beach. This 4-star ryokan offers a 24-hour front desk and a lift. What a wonderful place! We booked a suite and it was so worth the money paid - huge room, comfortable bed, massive sofa (like a second bed), hinoki bathtub was the size of a small swimming pool and ofcourse the onsen on the balcony with the most breathtaking views of the Atami! We also had a fridge stocked with complementary drinks + welcome cookies every day! They also offer you a welcome drink at the tea salon located on Lvl 8! The dinner was delicious and beautifully presented; traditional breakfast was not far behind! Absolutely loved our stay and would love to stay here again someday!

Onyado Yuinosho, Shirakawago provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 45 km of Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village and 46 km of Takayama Station. The place was incredible! Big rooms, amazing facilities and wonderful staff! The onsens were great as well!
