I Tottori, 15 minutters gange fra Hakuto-stranden, ligger Pension Le Passage - Vacation STAY 11300v, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. Best place you could ever imagine to rest and admire the beautiful nature and sea coast in Japan. The kindest lady host in the place, willing to help if you have any trouble. She took care of us, and the food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were the best. Spacious and beautiful room with the astonishing view of the beach and sea. Also, if you’re willing to visit Tottori’s sand dunes, there is great transport from there. True gem and nothing but positive experience of japanese kindness and hospitalisty. Couldn’t recommend it more!

I Sakaiminato, bare 16 minutters gange fra Mizuki Shigeru-gaten og 23 kilometer fra Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum ligger Da Fern. Great environment and facility.

I Kurayoshi, 49 kilometer fra Tottori Sand Dunes, ligger Minpaku Yorozuya - Vacation STAY 12905, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. We stayed in the town for 3 days and 2 nights. This was overall our favorite experience in Japan (among Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hakuei). The hosts were very hospitable. Once we arrived, they helped us plan the itinerary, recommended places for dinner, held a tea party, and also helped us book a restaurant that needed reservation. On our way back, they also drove us to a further train station, with a few short stops for additional sight-seeing. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, and we could adjust the temperature with air-conditioning. The room felt very traditional (which was great). We slept on Tatami mat. The town itself was also very nice. The Detective Conan (case closed) part of town was very exciting, but even after the museum and themed restaurant/shops closed, the rest of the town was still very charming. We enjoyed walking around and taking in the beautiful scenery at night. In terms of getting to the town, we actually didn’t purchase the train tickets until one day before traveling. We asked our previous hotel and train station information to help us get the tickets, and there was no problem traveling to the town.

The place was spotlessly clean. A bit far from town but should not be a problem if you buy the Tottori bus pass. A good choice for those loving nature, quietness and local onsen (which should be less crowded in early morning or after 7.30pm).

I Tottori, bare 48 kilometer fra Daijoji Temple og 7,4 kilometer fra Tottori Sand Dunes ligger Kansuitei Kozeniya. I experienced the best hospitality I've ever experienced in a small Japanese town. The ability to use the private hot spring without a reservation was the best part. The breakfast was also really classy. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

DAISEN UMIHOTARU Entire house ligger i Daisen, 33 kilometer fra Mizuki Shigeru-museet, 33 kilometer fra Gegege no Yokairakuen og 48 kilometer fra Matsue stasjon. The location, the comfort and all the enmities were outstanding. The owner thought of everything!

The Gold Beach House har overnatting med en hage, en terrasse og skiløyper rett utenfor døren, og har utsikt over sjøen. Her bor du bare 38 kilometer unna Mizuki Shigeru-gaten. Amazing amenities! Amazing view! Such quiet location. So much peace. Everything is well thought out, modern and extremely well Equipped. The host was absolutely amazing even left us with a breakfast set and helped make reservations for a dinner. Would have loved to stay longer!!
