The guesthouse is an old traditional renovated farmhouse with an awesome rustic and very comfy charme and pieceful view over the lake and the mountains. The owner is very friendly and cool and offers very delicious bread for breakfast and (for free:) different kinds of coffee and tea. I had a great relaxing time there, escaping the hussle of the city.

It was truly a stunning location that left me with an indescribable feeling. The walk there was breathtaking, and everything was so clean and beautiful. The hosts were incredibly sweet and welcoming! As a first-time solo traveler who was quite anxious, I was amazed at how the environment instantly put me at ease. They were also so helpful in planning my time/transportation in Nanto, making my experience even more enjoyable and stress free. I felt so comfortable and cozy that I don’t even remember falling asleep after my long day of exploring :) The food was also absolutely delicious, and I was genuinely sad to leave.

This was a beautifull stay and great experience.The owner was with us while eating the dinner explaining the history,traditional music instruments and answering our questions about the village.I really raccomend this place to everyone who wants experience the rural living.

Daibutsu Ryokan ligger i Takaoka i Toyama og har en hage. Her bor du 48 kilometer fra Kanazawa-slottet og 48 kilometer fra Kenrokuen-hagen. The food, although modest, was excellently prepared. The room was the best in the house, overlooking the fish pond. The staff service was exceptional, but never bothersome. All in all, a very pleasant place to stay.
