Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. It's a great experience to stay here. There was a morning ceremony before the breakfast.

Bare 17 minutters gange fra Tanabe Ogigahama-stranden og 600 meter fra Tokei Shrine ligger Comfort Hotel Kii Tanabe, som tilbyr overnatting med klimaanlegg og eget bad i Tanabe. Lovely hotel staff, modern beautiful amenities. Great location, just what we needed.

I Shingu, 2 minutters gange fra Kumano Hayatama Taisha, ligger ゲストハウス柚, som har gratis sykler, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. Unique old style house but very comfortable with just the right amount of modern conviences (heaters, well stocked kitchen, comfortable futons). House was beautiful. Great location, only steps away from Hayatama Taisha and a 15 min walk to Kamakura shrine. Also, host was very welcoming and helpful.

I Chikatsuyu, 3 minutters gange fra Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art, ligger NONAGASE GUEST HOUSE, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en restaurant og en bar. Lite sted, med kun 2 rom og ekspesjonell service. Tradisjonelt Japansk rom med matter. Hyggelig, lite karnapp med stoler. Gjestehuset har lang historie og er verdt et besøk!

I Shingu, under 1 kilometer fra Kamikura Shrine, ligger 簡易宿所 ふくろく, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. Exceptionally nice. Wonderful rooms and clean easy shared facilities. The host was wonderful and so very kind.

I Shingu, bare 5 minutters gange fra Kamikura Shrine og 700 meter fra Kumano Hayatama Taisha ligger 長徳寺宿坊 Temple Hotel. One of our best stays in Japan! The host was extremely nice and spoke English. We arrived earlier than check in and were able to store our belongings in the temple. We asked the host for restaurant recommendations and he went above and beyond to help us find a place to eat (the ramen restaurant he recommended was very nice). The free alcohol was definitely a plus, we had a lot of fun!
