Guest House Suzumeno Kakurembo ligger i Koyasan, bare 44 kilometer fra Matsushita Park og 46 kilometer fra Wanpaku Park. The hosts were so kind! The facilities were very modern. Even though the toilets and shower were shared, it didn't feel like a bother and everything was so clean. It is very self service in case privacy is important for you.

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. Incredible stay. Everyone was incredibly friendly- the lovely gentleman behind reception was so kind and remembered us later in the day so even before we had taken our shoes off had our room key ready. The included dinner and breakfast were delicious. Room was very clean and comfortable. Communal bathroom was clean- you are able to use the shower in the morning during the set times (bath is only in the evening). Location is excellent as only a short walk from the bus stop to the cable car. Would definitely recommend.

Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in er et 1000 år gammelt buddhistisk tempel, og tilbyr gratis Wi-Fi, en vakker hage og rom i japansk stil. Excellent location, close to Okunoin Temple and Cemetery. Room were clean and warm as it was freezing outside. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. You could participate in the ceremonies conducted by the temple monks. The night tour was also informative.

I Nachikatsuura, 18 minutters gange fra Nachi-stranden, ligger Pension Sora, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en fellesstue. Its just an amazing place. Very beautiful and comfortable, staff so kind, helpful and friendly. Food is so good. I will really come back for a longer stay.

Bare 17 minutters gange fra Tanabe Ogigahama-stranden og 600 meter fra Tokei Shrine ligger Comfort Hotel Kii Tanabe, som tilbyr overnatting med klimaanlegg og eget bad i Tanabe. Lovely hotel staff, modern beautiful amenities. Great location, just what we needed.

I Shingu, 2 minutters gange fra Kumano Hayatama Taisha, ligger ゲストハウス柚, som har gratis sykler, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. The building and the rooms are super traditional and charming and spacious and comfortable. There was a shaved ice machine and prepared ice and sirup, very tasty! Fantastic location, there is a great temple right next to it. The host was super friendly and helpful, he made the stay great!

I Chikatsuyu, 3 minutters gange fra Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art, ligger NONAGASE GUEST HOUSE, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en restaurant og en bar. Lite sted, med kun 2 rom og ekspesjonell service. Tradisjonelt Japansk rom med matter. Hyggelig, lite karnapp med stoler. Gjestehuset har lang historie og er verdt et besøk!

I Shingu, under 1 kilometer fra Kamikura Shrine, ligger 簡易宿所 ふくろく, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. Exceptionally nice. Wonderful rooms and clean easy shared facilities. The host was wonderful and so very kind.

I Shingu, bare 5 minutters gange fra Kamikura Shrine og 700 meter fra Kumano Hayatama Taisha ligger 長徳寺宿坊 Temple Hotel. Very friendly and helpful host. Run me through all the equipment and helped with my luggage and time issue. Also the room is super clean and equipped with everything you need. Definitely recommend.
