The location, room, garden has awesome atmosphere- I loved the meditation session and the fire ritual! We stayed for two nights and took evening cemetery tour which was informative and mysterious at the same time! Dinners are superb! I booked family room for two of us and it was great and spacious. I would recommend this place for anyone interested in Buddhism or with appreciation of esoteric teachings. Staff is caring and attentive!

A very kind and hospitable host who left us many thoughtful gifts — coffee, candies, and even ice cream in the fridge! The room was cozy and comfortable, and we especially loved the couches. The bath was a real treat after a long day of walking. We only stayed one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer — it’s such a lovely place!

Lite sted, med kun 2 rom og ekspesjonell service. Tradisjonelt Japansk rom med matter. Hyggelig, lite karnapp med stoler. Gjestehuset har lang historie og er verdt et besøk!

I Shingu, under 1 kilometer fra Kamikura Shrine, ligger 簡易宿所 ふくろく, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. Undoubtedly, this place was one of the best accommodations I have been. The place is spotless. Seiko is a Super Host. She was very helpful to my request. Getting out of the train station you can turn to the left and after crossing the railway it is a two-minutes walk, there is a mini supermarket just in front of the accommodation and a big supermarket 4 minutes up the main road. The Villa is so adorable, if you have time for a little stroll, you will enjoy it. I strongly recommend it.

I Shingu, bare 5 minutters gange fra Kamikura Shrine og 700 meter fra Kumano Hayatama Taisha ligger 長徳寺宿坊 Temple Hotel. Very friendly and helpful host. Run me through all the equipment and helped with my luggage and time issue. Also the room is super clean and equipped with everything you need. Definitely recommend.

I Tanabe, bare 2 minutters gange fra Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art og 29 kilometer fra Kamitonda konserthus ligger 民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO. Excellent place to stay on the Kumano Kodo trail. Close to the bus stop. The host is very friendly. They offer excellent food. Our room was Japanese style. Very clean, comfortable and beautiful. I highly recommend this place.
