Best best best location, just in front of the station. The room was spacious, good facilities. I've got the room at 12nd floor, the top floor as my request. Big window, great view from my room.

Amazing history and gardens. Rooms were enormous, with open views of the beach and with a cedar bathtub fed by hot springs in the room.

The Breakfast is good enough as me and hubby both are vegetarian but the dinner are exceptional very well planned n delicious!! Defiantly will come back again!

Takasagoya Ryokan offers a public bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Zao Onsen, 200 metres from Zao Onsen Ski Resort. The rooms were very spacious and the food was exceptionally. It was a fantastic authentic experience.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. Our stay here was impressive, we had the deluxe family room, which was spacious and had a cozy Japanese vibe to it. The hotel staff was amazing and even though I changed our arrival day like 10 times and we arrived so late in the evening, dinner was prepared for us and we had a private traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Excellent room, great view of the snow capped mountains, most revitalizing onsen and excellent meals. Hotel perfectly accommodated to our dietary requirements. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Located within a 10-minute walking distance from the Zao Sky Cable aerial lift, Miyamaso Takamiya features 9 natural hot spring baths for guests to enjoy. Excellent all around. Amazing food and kind staff who were very attentive and accomodating. Hertiage buikding was an amazing serene setting for a holiday.

Tot, és senzillament molt familiar; t’hi sents com a casa. Et permet conèixer d’aprop les persones, sobretot per a mi, que vinc d’una cultura tan diferent, han sigut molt amables i simpàtics. Ho han posat molt fàcil. El senyor de la casa m’ha explicat tot molt bé per a que de forma autònoma puguis utilitzar els espais de cuina i com funciona tot. L’organització és molt bona, ja que hi ha cartells que t’indiquen com funciona tot i els preus de les coses, on deixaràs els diners en les capsetes que hi ha, conforme el queconsumeixis. També pots sopar amb ells; quan jo hi he anat deixes un diners a voluntat. El Sopar va ser deliciós, fet amb molt d’amor:) i la companyia encara més. Ens vam comunicar amb traductor però ens vam entendre molt bé. Tinc un record preciós, moltes gràcies! Si torno a Yamagata repeteixo. A més tenen una gateta molt espavilada:)!

Set just 30 km from Zao Onsen Ski Resort, Tendo Hotel provides accommodation in Tendo with access to an open-air bath, free bikes, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The breakfast spread was good and we enjoyed our 4 mornings of good breakfast. It is Japanese style mixed with some western, there are juices, tea, coffee and desserts. The staff serving breakfast was very polite and neat. What we like best is the private room Japanese dinner which we enjoyed for the 3 nights. Very exclusive and different night, different menu. On our last night our dinner was changed from 2nd floor to the 10 floor which allow us to see the night scene of this little town. I highly recommend this for family or honey moon couple. We booked 3 rooms and requested for our rooms to be next to one another and the hotel helped us with this request. The Onsen in this Ryoken was clean and comfortable both indoor and outdoor. Walking from Tendo station to here is about 15 mins. The room is super comfortable, clean, shower and WC separated, well furnished in Japanese style. If I have a chance, will return.
