Very comfortable! The bathtub is what sold me on the room! Nice big tub with views over the ocean and hot spring water pumped directly into your bathtub! The included breakfasts were also very good, very large servings, I didn't need lunch the days I had the breakfasts. The on-site onsens were heavenly, the "help yourself" coffee station was great, and the shop had all the things I like from the hotel available to buy ( got caramel apple tea and the lovely skin sets to take home). Highly reccommend this hotel!

Really enjoyable stay with free flow of craft beers, cocktails, wines and sake. Well organised check in and briefing by friendly staffs who helped to moved luggage up to second floor. Very delicious Kaiseki Dinner and fantastic breakfast with well prepared beef steak...

Objekt Takasagoya Ryokan nalazi se u gradu 'Zao Onsen', u regiji ‘Yamagata’, na 2 min hoda od znamenitosti Skijalište Zao Onsen. Warmest accommodations I’ve ever received. I loved every aspect of the place - sleeping, living, dining, showering, onsen, accessibility to the slopes. This is a beautiful place! The owners were very nice and they were very forgiving of our mistakes and helped out with our request.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. Wonderful wonderful place! The food was brilliant, the staff were absolutely fantastic and the facilities were above and beyond. We had a wonderful time there

Guests at Hayamakan can enjoy traditional multi-course meals and relax in the indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths. We liked that it was a quiet and private space where we could rest without the hustle and bustle of the city. The environment and the layout of the ryokan, creates such a serene space for us. Which was exactly what we wanted. The services and the food it was exceptional. Every meal we had felt like it was so well taken care of and of such high quality. It was so healthy and delicious all at the same time. Every dish was amazing but We would never forget the beef we had there and the seaweed porridge and the many side dishes that came with them those were the highlight for us. The shuttle services were really handy for us travelling in and out of the ryokan.

Wonderful hospitality and exceptional vegetarian Shojin Ryori cuisine. Great base to explore Mt Haguro. Hotel staff accepted our baggage, despite it being too early to check in and directed us to a local museum where we could borrow rain boots and poles to hike Mt Haguro in extreme snowy conditions!

Located within a 10-minute walking distance from the Zao Sky Cable aerial lift, Miyamaso Takamiya features 9 natural hot spring baths for guests to enjoy. Me and my family we all voted this hotel as our favorite one from our 12 days travel in east Japan. The service and the food was excellent, the hotel is run by a family, very historical and cultural. If you are looking for something unique and this is definitely your best choice! Our only regret is that we only stayed here for 1 night:( we wish to stay longer next time

Objekt Guesthouse Mintaro Hut smješten je u gradu 'Yamagata', na 18 km od znamenitosti Skijalište Zao Onsen. This the best guest house I have ever been to!! The owner and the staff are great! They make you feel at home! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. What's more, they prepare a delicious dinner every night! Which creates a familiar atmosphere with all the guests and the staff! This stay was the highlight of my trip. Plus, the house is super comfy, toilets and bedrooms are sparkling clean. And They provide everything for you to prepare your breakfast! Location is perfect too, next to the Kajo park where you the Sakura blooming and its splendor!

Objekt Tendo Hotel smješten je u gradu 'Tendo', na 30 km od znamenitosti Skijalište Zao Onsen, te nudi smještaj koji sadrži besplatne bicikle, besplatno privatno parkiralište i zajednički salon. The Onsen was wonderful and in a great location we had a great breakfast with lots of options. Dinner was a beautiful traditional Japanese cuisine.
