Great hotel near the Yamagata Station, about 5 minutes walk. The room was quite spacious and clean. It was easy to comunicate with the staff as they spoke perfect English. For breakfast we had to choose Western style set or Japanese style. We liked everything about our stay. Highly recommend!

Great all inclusive especially for beer enthusiasts. The room had a lot of space even with the futons laid out. We enjoyed the open air bath in the room and the private onsen. The meals were fantastic especially the dinners.

I loved every aspect of the place - sleeping, living, dining, showering, onsen, accessibility to the slopes. This is a beautiful place! The owners were very nice and they were very forgiving of our mistakes and helped out with our request.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. Our stay here was impressive, we had the deluxe family room, which was spacious and had a cozy Japanese vibe to it. The hotel staff was amazing and even though I changed our arrival day like 10 times and we arrived so late in the evening, dinner was prepared for us and we had a private traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Guests at Hayamakan can enjoy traditional multi-course meals and relax in the indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths. Im very impressed. The staff provided excellent service. Highly recommended!

Wonderful hospitality and exceptional vegetarian Shojin Ryori cuisine. Great base to explore Mt Haguro. Hotel staff accepted our baggage, despite it being too early to check in and directed us to a local museum where we could borrow rain boots and poles to hike Mt Haguro in extreme snowy conditions!

Located within a 10-minute walking distance from the Zao Sky Cable aerial lift, Miyamaso Takamiya features 9 natural hot spring baths for guests to enjoy. Excellent property. Comfortable stay, attentive and patient staff who anticipated and attended to our every need and request. Food was excellent and they accommodated my dietary restrictions and remembered them throughout my stay. Wonderful stay, highly recommend.

Awesome location, 5 min away from Tendo station.
