Amazing Hotel, even though it is a very traditional and old place, the rooms are very modern and renovated with all the amenities one can think of. Onsen is good too, but very hot. The beach is literally just across the road! The rooms all have an ocean view. Staff is extremely friendly and breakfast is also great. Just watch out to book dinner if possible, as there are not many options to eat around town if you don’t want to take the car.

Our room had a view of the public osen which was nicely lit up at nice. The steam film the hot springs contrasted nicely with the snow. Very friendly and hospitable family. Felt well taken care of. They even came out in the biting cold to clear the snow from our car.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. Most incredible onsen we’ve been. Everything was very nicely decorated, great dinner and breakfast in private rooms. Big room. Onsen was increasingly clean

Guests at Hayamakan can enjoy traditional multi-course meals and relax in the indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths. I really liked it. The staff were very polite, the environment was relaxing and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious.

As you stepped into the Ryokan you could feel the history seeping from its walls, as it has been in Yuki's family for over 100 years. You get a sense of the fellow travellers who have passed through and experienced great hospitality like we did, from Toki_san and Yuki. They gave us great recommendations of the local area too. Dinner is a definite must when you stay here as you eat, delicious food from the mountains and local area.

Located within a 10-minute walking distance from the Zao Sky Cable aerial lift, Miyamaso Takamiya features 9 natural hot spring baths for guests to enjoy. It was a beautiful historical building with nice interior designs. There are 4 wonderful onsens which we enjoyed a lot. The room is spacious, clean and beds were comfy. The dry room was very convenient for us to store our snowboards. The kaiseki meals provided were excellent and the highlight of our trip. The staff were very welcoming and kind and helped us pack our luggage into our car during our check out and helped us arrange our breakfast and dinner times.

He drove me to the station without even asking for it. dinner time is the best, traditional japanese dinner to be joined with a donation. All super tasty, and with nice conversations.
