Berlokasi di Zao Onsen, wilayah Yamagata, Takasagoya Ryokan terletak 2 menit jalan kaki dari Resor Ski Zao Hotsprings. The breakfast and dinner is traditional Japanese and is excellent and value for money. The dinner was especially sumptuous and was more than expected. It had a small onsen and for the more adventurous you can also use on of the 3 public onsen that was only steps away from the front door. It's exceptionally close to the ski lift - easily walkable even with gear.

Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya menawarkan pemandian air panas alami, 15 menit berjalan kaki dari Stasiun JR Tendo, 50 km dari Sendai. Beautiful property. The room was spacious! Even for Western standards. The private onsen was very nice. We did not try the public onsen. The staff were courteous and helpful. Although the staff had limited English proficiency, they all used a translation app to help with communication which was incredibly helpful.

Great base to explore Mt Haguro. Hotel staff accepted our baggage, despite it being too early to check in and directed us to a local museum where we could borrow rain boots and poles to hike Mt Haguro in extreme snowy conditions!

Miyamaso Takamiya berjarak 10 menit jalan kaki dari lift udara Zao Sky Cable, dan memiliki 9 pemandian air panas alami untuk Anda nikmati. it was the best experience for me to stay in this beautiful ryokan. the staff is very nice try to explain everything in english. they also provide yukata to wear. the food is very delicious. everything is exceed my expectation. also they send us to terminal bus by car, because there is a heavy snowfall.
