Ubytovanie Chui Cottage with tennis facing Mt Kenya & near Ngare Ndare sa nachádza približne 36 km od miesta Lekurruki Conservation Trust. We didn't realise before arriving but there was a hoast and chef at our disposal. Had we realised we would have made more use of their excellent services. Location is excellent for exploring Ngare Ndare forest. Also great views of Mount Kenya if the clouds allow.

Ok, yes it’s expensive but man is this place worth it. The lodge itself is stunning of course with many beautiful areas to explore and relax but the staff themselves are just as stunning. They are beyond attentive and helpful and make you feel like part of the family. When capacity allows, each party is given their own private game drives. Guests are all given their own special treatment whether that be a private dinner by the pool or some small highlight like a sunset dinner in the bush to make your trip feel that little bit more personal. When possible you have the same wait, housekeeping and game drive staff through your stay so they can learn what you like and how to make you the most comfortable. Our housekeeping learned we love Coke Zero so gave us extra each day, our wait staff learned we didn’t like spicy food so made adjustments to the menu for our taste and our game driver knew we wanted to see rhinos and hippos and went above and beyond to make it happen. Even for a luxury lodge it really exceeds expectation. Food and drink were sensational and nothing was too much. We were offered double serves of every meal and never went without a drink in our hands. Ask your driver to take you to the hippo river if you like hippos, it was the closest I will ever come to a hippo unless one day I am eaten by one and was the highlight of my whole 5 week trip to Africa in general. Each game drive comes with drinks in a fridge and cold towels to help manage the heat.

This remote property is very clean and tidy. Kitchen is fully stocked with the necessary utensils and there is complementary tea and coffee, salt, pepper, sugar,… Many people make notes on the road but the directions by the owner were very clear. The final few km’s take you of the man road on a dirt road. A car with a bit higher ground clearance does better here. Pictures correctly show what property looks like and view of Mt Kenya is also as pictured

Chef Leonard & Julius morning Chef made sure that every request was made. Freda the Manager was outstanding. She accommodated our request in full details. Robert also did a great job (waiter). He deserves great recognition. This hotel knows how to bring the Xmas spirit to their guests. Freda deserves a raise!!!
