Situated in Koh Kong and only 2.7 km from Koh Kong Beach, Young Wild and Free features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was a fun resort to stay in and the owners treat me like I was part of the family. They also did a great job arranging my trips in the area and at the border. If I have another opportunity to go back to Koh Kong, I would stay at the resort again.

Chateau Nesat offers accommodation in Phumĭ Chroŭy Svay. The hotel also features free WiFi and free private parking. Sihanouk International Airport is 85 km from the property. Nesat is close to sandy beaches and small eating places Khmer style mostly. The Barang village has a handfull of little guesthouse/eating places including the Cornerstone which manages the Chateaux and has excellent food, good coffee and friendly people. The place is quite new and the room was fine with a good size bathroom, aircon/fan etc. Outside there are other places to sit and relax. There are music and other events at the village though not the weekend I visited. The road is now very good and was about 2.5hr door to door from Phnom Penh in a car.

Los Penguin features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Phumĭ Chroŭy Svay. Each room has a patio with garden views and free WiFi. The units in the hotel are equipped with a kettle. Super friendly owners, clean accommodation and as a big bonus cute kitties that came to cuddle! Free drinking water and a bar with great music that was frequented by the other 'villagers', who were communicative and inclusive. There's also a volleyball field that sees some action in the late afternoon! Local food and drinks a few km down the road towards the beach. Own transport needed.

A recently renovated luxury tent set in Phumĭ Chroŭy Svay, Zen Space Nesat features a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The room is spacious, clean and has a comfy bed. AC works + moto rent available. Neither noise or bugs were an issue during my stay. The hosts are very nice and knowledgeable. They prepared excellent food and (medicinal) coffee, which is a great plus. The location and village is great, you can both relax and have fun. Friendly and funny cats come visit the property.

Offering quiet street views, Sopheak Mongkol Guesthouse in Phumĭ Khlâng provides accommodation and a bar. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Superb gem in an unexpected rural location( easily explained as the hotel sits prominently on an intersection of 2 province boundaries) . All staff and (new?) manager incredibly courteous, polite and very helpful and efficient. Lovely spacious, light airy room with big double doors opening onto a big balcony enough for table and chairs outdoors times. It's so much more a full hotel facility than it's "guesthouse" name. Big Lobby Reception,Large restaurant, elevator, rooftop bar. High-quality furniture and furnishings, bedding etc. Hotel only 3yrs old and also refurbished or improved more in the last year Ideal if you have a vehicle, the only very minor negative is the location is about 1.3kms from Srae Ambel rural township and Passapp hailing doesn't operate there. But the hotel staff will readily find an arrangement for you. ( my recommendation might be a simple little buggy type free shuttle...?) Very very highly recommended, one of the best surprises I've found throughout my 3yrs nomadic traveling across S.E.Asia
