This is a wonderful place with lots of extras like kayaks you can use and a very clean pool. I also got one of the best massages I ever had and the staff was incredibly attentive. A wonderful experience!

The owners here are fabulous hosts, and very willing to help with great local knowledge. Younger foreign couple, with fluent english. Rooms are very clean with good working fan, and mosquito net for sleeping. AC option if needed. Excellent location, and right in the center to walk everywhere. Two minutes to the beach. Excellent value - Highly recommended!!!

Beachfront Location: Whisky Point Resort in Arugam Bay offers a private beach area and direct beachfront access. Guests enjoy sea views and a serene garden setting. This is PARADISE! exactly like I have seen it described in books. Everything is just created to make you not want to ever leave ❤️ me and my fiancé had such a great experience here. When we have arrived, we had a bad cold, and everyone has mobilized to make us feel better: pills, teas, all kinds of ayurvedic medicines were given to us to make us feel better. I felt like we were at our parents homes, and they're going above and beyond to make us feel better. Rooms: we got an upgrade to a room with bathroom and, even though we paid for the lower one, we were offered for free the upper one - very nice gesture 👍 we never slept better - ocean sound and breeze, there is a balcony for each cabana. Super clean, great design, bathrooms are big. Lovely :) The food: Italian base, I had the best pizza ever. Also, we love soup, so their chicken soup is perfect. Staff: amazing. Also, the owners are very fun and welcoming, it was a pleasure to meet them. Activities: the complex is at the ocean front. So we bathed and sun bathed, the weather was amazing. Also, you can learn how to surf, get a massage, play board games, go to safari, go into the lagoon on the beach or by boat, tuktuk to PottuVill, which is much better than Arugam Bay, being more local. I don't have enough good words for this accomodation. I am now looking at options to come back in Jan-Feb and stay for longer than 3 days 😄

It is with a heavy heart that our stay at Lucky Bay ends. Thank you to Mohamed and his family for all the attention they gave us, they spoiled us every day with delicious little treats. Thank you Mohamed for your kindness and hospitality. We had a wonderful stay. We affirm that it was one of our most beautiful encounters of our trip. The hotel is a small haven of peace very well maintained, its fabulous garden puts us in a relaxing atmosphere. 10m from the beach and right next to the best breakfast in Arugam Bay, the location is ideal. Bay Dreams Beach Hotel & Surf Camp fornece acomodação com jardim, estacionamento privativo grátis, área de praia privativa e lounge compartilhado em Arugam Bay. Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Very nice, place, about 10 minutes walk from the center of Arugam Bay, but they provide free bicycles, so it’s relatively easy to get there. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is filling enough and they provide free yoga sessions every day and also surfing lessons (cost is similar to that in the city).
