Set in Batticaloa, 6.4 km from Batticaloa Railway Station, Inpan's beach resort Batticaloa offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. A very nice and comfortable place. The staff here are very friendly. The food was amazing. We had the crab and prawn curry and it was delicious. We can say that this was the best food we had in Sri Lanka. We liked it very much. We only spent one night. We will stay here again if we get the chance. We recommend this place to others.

Set within 100 metres of Pasikuda Beach and 700 metres of Sri Muththu Mariyamman Kovil, Blue Sands Beach Resort features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Pasikuda. Right on arrival we were served fresh juice and were greeted by the friendly owner and staff. The room was beautiful, very comfortable and clean, with AC, fan and mosquito net above the bed. The bathroom had a normal shower with glass doors. The balcony is also very nice with a view of the sea. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful - fresh juice, tea/coffee, egg, toast, cheese, butter and jam, yogurt and some kind of rice cake served with honey (we really liked and appreciated this local dish!). The location is quite and close to Passekudah Bay. All in all just a perfect stay!

Set within 1.7 km of Pasikuda Beach and 2.3 km of Valaichchenai Harbour, Aiden Homestay features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Pasikuda. I like that the room and the bathroom were big and very clean, the garden was beautiful. The location of the hotel was perfect for me as it is exactly between the beautiful beach of Passikudah and the city of Valachchenai. Also, the owner family is very nice and helpful, you feel at home right away. I recommend this home stay.

Facing the beachfront, Karpaha Sands offers 5-star accommodation in Pasikuda and features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and garden. This accommodation blew everything out of the Sri Lanka waters. Truly amazing hospitality during our stay. Passionate Manager Umberto didn’t just host us—he really brought his soul into the experience, and we felt it every step of the way. It’s the little touches that made it so special: the warm and attentive staff (i.e. Nif and Pathum),the delicious bites with our apero, the magical evening lighting, the beautiful art around the property, the fresh melon on the beach, the water service by the pool and beach…best of Italian 🇮🇹 cuisine (cooked by Umberto himself) and so much more. Every detail was thought through with care, and it showed. Truly unforgettable, and we’re already dreaming of coming back.

The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. Wow, this place blew our minds. Absolutely stunning resort right on the beach - even better than pictured. The food was also sensational (fried butter prawns in particular), rooms beautiful and the staff rounded out the experience. All of the staff were lovely and went over and above to ensure we had a great stay. Ruchi (the animator) was a highlight. He proactively engaged my three year old son on the first day and by day two were fast friends - making our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. We were there for 3 nights and while I normally want to get out and about - I was really happy to spend the whole time at the resort. Can’t recommend Maalu Maalu any higher

Literally less than 1 min to the beach. Caring, attentive host. The host is so welcoming and happy to help with anything. Amazing food. Breakfast is incredible and very generous. Would really recommend having dinner at the guesthouse at least once as it’s the most amazing Sri Lankan home cooked food and very reasonably priced!!
