The place was exactly what we were looking for: a peaceful spot, surrounded by nature, frequented and run by TOP people! Our tent was perfect – two fans for the night, mosquito nets, and a beautiful outdoor area with personal chairs and table. Bathrooms were good, and the shared spaces were very well designed. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. Tommy, the host, is exceptional – we felt totally at ease with him and his whole team, who were incredibly attentive with our 7-year-old rascal :) Since we come to Sri Lanka almost every year, we’ll definitely be coming back to Delft Village Stay!

Breakfast is great and we also had dinner in the hotel a couple of nights which we also really enjoyed. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we ever go back to Jaffna

The host Haran is a true people person. He knows how to treat guests like family. Starting from breakfast, we were given generous portions of authentic Jaffna cuisine which were truly delicious. The rooms were big, spacious and most importantly clean. AC, hot water was working very well. The location was a mere walking distance from Nallur kovil and could be considered an ideal location to base your Jaffna trip. All in all every one in our group enjoyed the stay and we would gladly recommend this location to anyone traveling to Jaffna.

The location in relation to the city’s main highlights is perfect. Everything is reachable within 10 minutes by tuk-tuk.

This was our most comfortable, cleanest and newest accommodation so far! Sanseevan was a wonderful host and gave us lots of tips and tea! Right on the waterfront with a lovely balcony area you can relax on in the evening. Very peaceful place compared to Jaffna centre, but so close to visit town and the sights. Room was well equipped with hot water and air con, towels and bedsheets.

And on too of that the staff was extremely kind and friendly, they went above and beyond to care for my needs and safety. Food was also very traditional and tasty.
