The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. The Golden Crown Hotel was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip through Sri Lanka including Colombo, the north, and other regions. The service, friendliness, and atmosphere were absolutely exceptional. Everything felt perfectly balanced professional yet genuinely warm. A few people made the experience truly unforgettable. Dananjaya was always helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He really made my stay more enjoyable with his positive energy. Mlhirini had such a kind and welcoming presence. She constantly made sure I had everything I needed and was always up for a nice conversation. So caring and attentive. Roshan, the manager, is a truly kind person. Under his leadership, the service was simply outstanding. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. If you’re looking for real hospitality and excellent service, this is the place. I’ll definitely come back!

We stayed at Arambhaya Boutique Hotel for one night and we wish we stayed longer! The hotel is very clean and modern, with many options of rooms. The room we had was extremely spacious with a large washroom with a large bath and shower. The bed was very comfortable and there was a nice balcony, TV, sitting area, tea/coffee station, work table, and a set of stairs leading to an upstairs sitting area underneath a skylight. The whole room was impressive and well equipped and really made us feel comfortable. The reception and team were great, the receptionist contacted me through whatsapp to inform us about dinner, which they prepared quickly and brought to the room. The hotel has an attached restaurant which has a fantastic, diverse menu, the food is well priced and really tasty! The team are super friendly and extremly attentive, they will respond to your requests with the best of their ability. The hotel offers breakfast included with the booking which involved a handful of great choices for us to pick from which they prepared for the time which we requested. We had an amazing stay at Arambhaya Boutique hotel and we will definitely be coming back.

We had a wonderful stay! Hemaka is truly the kindest person in the world – he welcomed us with cake and a mojito, always smiling, helpful, and so polite. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him! The accommodation was excellent – comfortable, with a stunning view, everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!

The view and the locations are beautiful. We loved the room, the pool with the view and the amazing breakfast. The people are amazing, they were so nice bringing candles for my friend’s birthday. We enjoyed everything!!!

We simply enjoyed our stay here. This is a top hotel with all the amenities you could wish for. We enjoyed an excellent dinner and breakfast buffet here. The rooftop pool and bar are beautiful. The gym was excellent. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We can highly recommend this hotel.

Our bicycle journey around Sri Lanka has a stop in a Kandy too. A city that should not be missed on your Sri Lanka trip as also a place called Galkaduwa360 Villa in the middle of city with a 360 view an all of it. What makes place even more home like is an owner Susantha which is always ready for help and conversation, good company and fun. So that is probably also the one more reason why we prolonged our one night stay in to two nights. The place is cosy, very clean and modern arranged. With A/C, great WI-FI, 360 city view and a lot more. Don,t miss Kandy and take a rest in heaven's place Galkaduwa360 Villa. Highly reccomended by Gregor and Staš.

Situated within 4.4 km of Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens and 6.2 km of Ceylon Tea Museum, Kandy Food Lovers Home Stay by AGS features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kandy. Amazing place - this may be the best place I stay in Sri Lanka. It is not in city center but is a short tuk tuk ride away. The room is lovely, the bed huge and comfortable (best night sleep!) and the grounds are lovely (great for catching up on travel / life admin in a great setting). The food they served was fantastic. All in all I really loved my stay here and it the value for the cost was phenomenal.
